This is my first completed game. Having a deadline was a massive help for me to actually get something finished!

It's a short story about writing horoscopes and the technological singularity. It's also kind of a rhythm game.
I did the coding, story, art and some of the music. Big thanks to Urban Fox for the exclusive track which you can hear at the beginning.
In the coming days I will add some of my thoughts and some technical information on my blog. This is the first release by sleepy agents which is the name of my game dev studio - which isn't much more than me and a laptop at the moment!

I'd love to receive any feedback. Can you read the text OK? Does this work on Linux and Mac? I haven't been able to test on those operating systems!
Also would you say this is "too experimental" or "not experimental enough" for your tastes?

This APK is a beta, I have not optimised for mobile devices so I won't be putting this on the public play store. I'll consider this in the future, but for now I'm shifting focus to my other game which will have a full android release.

Hi Laniessa. Thanks, the rhythm aspect is a little abstract, so sorry if you were hoping for a traditional rhythm game!

I really liked the central gameplay element with the music in this one. I kept trying to intentionally make decisions off-rhythm to make it sound like one of the trippier early Aphex Twin songs...

Experimental is A-OK with my tastes, probably even my preference but certainly not the requirement.

I did find the story confusing, not necessarily in terms of content, but in how the two central elements (horoscopes and tech singularity) relate to each other... It would've been interesting if you could've found some clearer way to link them thematically. But the story did set the mood well for the central music-creation mechanic, which is probably the most important thing.

Overall, I enjoyed it and will definitely look forward to future projects!

Thank you for the feedback YossarianIII. It's great to hear people's opinions on what they liked and what could've been improved.
I'd agree that the main themes of the story could've been developed further, maybe during the forced ad. For whatever reason I decided I wanted the horoscope aspect to be completely arbitrary, but that probably made the story a bit too disjointed!
