I'll be doing this picture for picture, then..
For starters:
Where prelate Lucius is presented.
Since the focus ended up on romance, this picture should have the guy in focus. Preferably up close, so that you can show the audience how pretty he looks, and most often alone, to drive home that he is the focus here.
Here, the artist has chosen a full-body shot, with three people in it. They are too far away to be well-made out, as evidenced by the lack of detail in their faces. Further, the guy smiles with buckles in his upper lip, this makes him look. It looks like a heavy wrinkle due to the shadow/lighting drawing attention to it. Not to mention the gestures draw focus towards the general. The artist tried to mitigate this by using lighting, but I'd say it's not enough when combined with prior mistakes.
It is a good illustration of the situation, but it fails to perform the intended action: Namely, to showcase the merchandise as attractive and in focus.
Where Alastor is presented
Better picture, in that Alastor is the focus of the picture, and all else is kept out of focus. Would have been better if he was the _sole_ focus in a closer-up picture, but it works.
You know what? Missing the CGs in this game is really easy, and I don't feel like going through the entire game again. Can you send me a folder with CGs or something, and I'll review them that way? I can go through most every single CG in the game that way.
