Tokyo Conspiration

#1 Post by PyTom »

The latest game discovery by RAIN, the Ren'Ai Intelligence Network.

I downloaded the game, and I believe it's in Portuguese. (At least, the Portuguese Google translator produced less nonsensical results than the Spanish one.)

If someone who speaks the language could take care of adding this to the games list at renpy.org, I'd appreciate it.

While I'm at it, let me thank 000 for adding TO&HI: Вспомнить всё. Викторина на выживание to the list of games.

Oh, I am flattered.
It was my duty as Russian Ren'Py supporter to do so. I hope I will be able to repeat it with a lot of another ORLVNs.

Right. It probably would have been easier if I had added in the link. You can get the game from:

http://willthink.spaces.live.com/

click on the globe-and-folder image on the right. The post about the game is at:

http://willthink.spaces.live.com/blog/c ... !185.entry

Right now it's on the top, but it might not always be.

Thanks. About the game's language, it's Brazilian and not Portuguese if I want to be picky. : P Dunno if you want me to still post it on renpy.org, but not that I mind doing it.

Fair enough... I'm not an expert on world linguistic differences.

And yeah, if you don't mind, posting details about the game would be nice. I'd like the games list to be as complete as possible.

Ok, I'll have it done later, hopefully. I don't have a Wiki account and from what I've seen, there'll be need to upload an image file.

Oh Hi!
I'm WiLL from the blog over there :)
Did you guys like the game? :o
The ren'py engine was the best engine I've used so far, thanks for making it so clear PyTom.
I've made it for a college work, and yes, it is Brazilian Portuguese.
The characters were done with http://www.sp-studio.de/.
If you want to play the game, I can translate it to english.

Thank you guys for taking your time with it. I really appreciate that.
If you need something, you know were you can find me now :)
Any other questions, http://willthink.spaces.live.com
Bye.

Welcome. Frankly, I can't really say I have a strong opinion about the game, because I can't read it. I find the use of South Park-style art interesting, and I'm generally biased towards anything involving rockets.

I'd probably be interested in an English translation.

I'm surprised by how much college credit people are getting for Ren'Py games. (Especially because I've kept Ren'Py secret from my Ph.D. advisor.)

Mind if I move this thread to Completed Games?

I will start the translation right now then! :D

And why did you kept ren'py a secret? :o
I think your Ph.D. advisor would use it too :D

Oh, and please move it! :)
I would love to see it there!
Bye.

Ok, I finished putting the game over renpy.org. Hope you don't mind, WiLL.

Oh, and I played and got to what I think that are the two endings of the game. It was a bit short, but enjoyable, and with some nice touches. Most impressive for a 3 week work.
And nice character art. Congrats. : )

Oh :o
Thanks for the support Ridley. It's so great to develop one of the first 100 known games made with the Ren'Py engine :D

The decision system was made with two variables. So... you can follow the "honesty" way or the "ambition" way.
Thank you for taking your time with it, and for your opinion. :)

Also, I've made another post at my blog, for everyone out there that's been visiting it.
There is a message concerning it's translation and the support of you guys :D
Thank you!
Bye.

Finally the game has been translated!

In my blog you'll find more details about it. :)

Hope you guys like it.

And if you find ANY english errors, please tell me!
It's not my native language, so I must have done some mistakes

Bye.
