One of the best games I ever played. I played it multiple times just to make sure I got all the endings and I enjoyed every minute of it. ^^ Thank you for that wonderful game. I really love the storyline and the artwork. I admit that I would love to see more varied poses for each character but it's okay. I still really love the game. However, I still don't know how to get the surprise kiss one.... am I missing something? *wonders*

Hey Tele, sorry bout the late reply...have jes kinda been bz wit life haha. anyways thanks once again soo much! I know, if i ever was gonna remake DSG I would change/add character emotion changes as well. But its all in hindsite now. =p

As for the surprise kiss ending...there IS one?! lol. I cant remember putting that in the game. hmmm...im wondering now which one could have been mistakened for as a "surprise kiss" one?

What a great game! I really enjoyed playing it. As usual though, I know nothing about the manga or anime that inspired it, so I'm probably missing a good deal. I tend to get into fandoms via the *ahem* back door, anyway: read a few good fan-stories and then go look for the canon. The problem is that I then often find that the original is just more of the usual (big toys, ka-zaaam!, and ego) and end up disappointed.

I've got to join the chorus of people asking for a Jaja ending

- I know you didn't want to write shota, but I felt really bad at the blunt way he's just told "no chance - you're too young." Had to go do chores until I stopped thinking about him going home and crying into his pillow. Kids have feelings too! I would have totally gone for a "let's wait and be friends in the meantime" ending.

He's just such a fun, engaging character. Ended up humming his leitmotif for days, though.

I'm really glad you had a variety of guys in your game - I'm just so bored with games/films/porn where *all* the guys are ripped and pumped-full-of-steroids big. Let's hear it for pretty, slender guys with decent dress-sense!

Some of the other posters commented that they found the characters being so openly gay unrealistic. I had no problem with that - there are a shitload of stories out there with the plotline "I fancy him but he's a guy!" *Angst, angst, angst!* so it was good to see something different. IME there are plenty of real-life institutions where the attitude is "yeah, he's gay - so what?" So I'd argue that in some ways the attitude of the characters in DSG is more realistic than shoving them all back in the closet. Of course YMMV, and let's face it - the closet is great for drama, if sub-fabulous IRL.

Talking of fabulous - I really liked Marlain, and had no doubts that he was a guy throughout (maybe that should be a spoiler ... nah.) He seemed really together, which of course you have to be if you're going to be visibly different. Again, kudos for variety.

It's great you're working on a sequel (and also great that you've got a good job that's keeping you busy using your drawing talent )

I had a great time playing DSG 1, and it's firmly on my "favourites" shelf.

DSGII looks so good. I'm in love with Orion (aka new Sato) AND Jayse (new... Polar?) and could not believe when I got to the end of the demo. What a tease! ...Although, Orion's strange pointing position and smelly room are making me lean towards Jayse... I like blonds anyways. Make sure you're very, um, "loud" when this comes-out... I am worried I will miss the release. Looks great.
