I just found and played this for the first time the other day. It's an awesome game, and really inspires me with some of my Ren'py projects. I'm kind of shocked how there are no equivalents to this kind of idol simulation in Japan (yes, there are idol simulation games like IdolM@ster, and yes there are some boring romance sims with some management elements, but none that have a good balance like Idolcraft). I love games where you can scout new characters (Suikoden, for example).

^ Thanks. A little known fact is that Idolcraft was inspired not by IdolM@ster (which I still haven't found a chance to play, grrr) but by a very old, very obscure game called Idol Project. The scouting element came from that game, and as you mention, it does seem hard to think of another example of it.

wooo a B the first time through and I managed to find nine girls. although, I seem to be having a problem finding endless mode, how do I start that?
