wow this game was really wonderful :D! Exactly my taste of VNs. Art is incredibly awesome, so is the story. Got all endings too and well the third was quite nice but the "ultimate(?) ending" was really really well-thought.

Very nice. Everything--the story,art,and music--was great.
I got all the endings.Personally, I liked ending 4.
Thank you very much for this truly wonderful VN.

Greetings,

I wondered if I could ask a question regarding the license for Moonlit Walks. On one website: http://www.bishoujo.us/moonlight/ it is listed as having quite a liberal license. However, on http://renpy.org/wiki/renpy/Ren%27Py_Ga ... ight_Walks it is listed as having Creative Commons BY-ND (Freeware), which seems to conflict with the details of the other license. That being the case, which is valid?

My thanks for your time, and my apologies for the inconvenience.

The license on the MW web page is the correct one, and I've updated the Ren'Py page to reflect this. The general idea is that you can distribute it and modify it however you want to, but if those modifications go beyond simply making it run on new platforms, then you need to change the name from "Moonlight Walks" to something else, to prevent confusion.

Moonlight Walks 2.0 is now available in Russian. You can download it here.

I'd like to sincerely thank PyTom for all his help and patience, which made it possible for this translation to be 99.9% accurate. ^_^

P.S. During to my horrible ISP, currently only Win32 build is available. I'll try to upload the multiplatform package as soon as possible.

I finished this a couple of days ago. I really liked how parts of the mystery and the secrets enfolded. And even how the girl's youthful appearance played very cleverly into the mystery.

Also, liked the art and the various historical details.
Only thing was: it was strange how the protagonist tended to easily accommodate her at times... like explaining what "football" was or what a "camera" was. It seemed odd to me that he bought her puzzlement over what those terms were(before he found out what kinda person she was) since almost everyone in this world knows what a "football" and a "camera" were. Or even believing everything she said, without doubting her. Perhaps it was in his personality, though.

I got all the endings, I think, and thought they were all quite well-done. 1 where nothing really progresses and he never sees her again, 1 where they stay married forever and leave together, 1 where he helps her leave and 1 where he(as the grandfather) is recounting the story.

Those are actually part of the same ending. You're missing endings 2a and 2b.
They're the one where he doesn't find out when to meet her again.

Really? Awww... darn. Later, I might try to find out the hidden paths. Was it the one where
He goes back again to look for her and he doesn't find her 'cos the time is off(before full moon)?

I *think* I got all the endings. This game didn't have a huge impact on me, but it definitely left an impression. It made me feel (I wanted to use the word 'mellow', but after realizing it had a whole range of different definition, to not confuse myself and possibly others, I decided not to) calm and wise inside. :) Like I've just found another face of Life. Thankies for the game.

Damn good game, loved playing 2.0 last 2 months ago, it was what started me on the VNs.
Nice artwork, are all the endings so sad though?
I love GxB/Otome games! (Same thing really).

Anyone here like Bleach?

There's no good ending when you fall in love with someone who died years ago...

EDIT: since I'm sleepy and don't want to think too much, I just follow Jake's complaint... and so here we go, a spoiler tag, Baaam!!! Remember that this is not the game's ending. This is a joke from me, an ending for your real life if you try to imitate the game...
