Completed Ren'ai Games Welcome

#1 Post by Blue Lemma » Sun Mar 27, 2005 4:01 pm

Hello! With NaNoRenO coming to a close, PyTom and I figured it would be a good idea to have a forum for discussion of the games that are complete. Who will be the first to post their completed game? :wink:

Sweet, a forum just for completed games! That'll make things a bit easier. Will you guys be moving the other released game announcements here?

Well, so far I'm scheduled to release before the 31st... Then again, one of the SWAN may just beat me to it. They're a pretty secretive bunch. ^_^;

Is it just for visual novel games, or any games that you have made and completed?

Probably only games that are related to this kind of genre. Any visual novel is fair game; any game with romance as a major section of the plot is probably fair game; any game of any genre written with Ren'Py is fair game; any game with anime-style art and a reasonable story is probably fair game.

But a random platformer, or puzzle game, or FPS, isn't really what this forum is about, unless it's got a very notable storyline that's got something in common with a ren'ai game.
I released 3 VNs, many moons ago: Elven Relations (IntRenAiMo 2007), When I Rule The World (NaNoRenO 2005), and Cloud Fairy (the Cute Light & Fluffy Project, 2009).
More recently I designed the board game Steam Works (published in 2015), available from a local gaming store near you!

Also, anime-style RPGs have also wormed their way into this forum. (Partly because some enterprising VN artists enjoy pushing the boundaries between RPG and VN.)
