Heehee. The seemingly blindly chosen resources work really well in the context of Pyramus andX Thisby-- it's very amusing.
Good show.

Anyway, the first thing that came to mind was that the one song used in the character introduction has got close to making me want to murder people. Which may even have been the point, I guess!
The second thing that came to mind is that the Lemmy Awards should totally have a "Best use of Shakespeare" category. Screw fanservice!

Silly as the whole thing is, I quite liked the bit with the Wall and the sliding-back-and-forth between.

I just finished it, and I have to say, I'm impressed. You got the vn done quick, and it was fairly fun. The artwork was great, too.
Re: [NaNoReNo09] pXt
One question regarding the rules, as there was not a set clearly defined for this year. I looked at the 2k7 one and it say :
Is free distributed music considered as completed (since you just dl them and put them in your game as it is) or de we have to ask someone to make them during the month?****What is NOT Allowed Before the Month****
~ drawings you edit and enter into your game
~ written or typed dialogue, script, or text
~ completed or edited final version of music
~ actual game programming (Use of game engines doesn't apply, of course)
Re: [NaNoReNo09] pXt
You have a problem with the freely distributed music, but not with the freely distributed script, sprites or backgrounds in this game?

From what I've seen, freely distributed music is alright. Countless visual novels do it, and from the past NaNoRenOs I've seen a couple of people do it too.Adorya wrote:Is free distributed music considered as completed (since you just dl them and put them in your game as it is) or de we have to ask someone to make them during the month?
Re: [NaNoReNo09] pXt
My issue was if it was possible to use material already finished before the starting of the Nanoreno. 07' Rules said ok for use of writing notes but not already written complete story (but as there are no 09' rules...)
I pointed at music because that was the only thing I can't do by myself yet, but if it's ok then it reduce work a lot by having all data ready (story, art, music) before march and just working on coding.

You owe me one...mugenjohncel wrote:Lucy you here?... please take over... I'm beat and worn-out...
OK... Let's see...
Considering the limited timeframe... graphic is decent, music is very well matched and very nice usage of moves... a bit dizzying but nice... overall nice work...
Congratulations...
Now about the story itself...

Adorya >> You're raising that problem now?
AFAIK it obeys all the rules in my book.
delta >> um, an official summary would be nice. Reading the work feels artistic and all, but I'm still left scratching my head.

Same here. Is this a based on a Shakespeare story? Even though I don't get it, it's interesting enough to keep me reading on until the end.lucy wrote:Congratulations...

I still don't get it...care to explain?...
