Hrmm... Looking at your error, I don't think the downloaded proggie is the problem. The corrupt object may be something else that Windows is trying to use.
I'm going to get off my soap-box now, and let you get back to your day.

Academy Daze- Back in production! Complete with ecchi-ness ;)

What link did you follow to get there?

Going to http://www.studiomab.co.uk now should redirect you to the new downloads I put up a few days ago.

oh.. I was poking at the link on the first post, but it looks like the one on the link you provided works well instead.

Now I have the same problem as this fellow

Maybe I'm missing this game requires that other Renpy games do not require.

I'll try this out
ficedula wrote:Sometimes the .NET 3.5 installer we included with the game doesn't seem to install everything required. You could try installing the full version from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... laylang=en

and see if that helps.
but I see it didn't help the last guy.

edit: it did not help.

My exact problem. Something difficult with Vista and Sylph.

ASDFGHJKL, I'm so excited to play this! o////o;
Since MorningStar was really awesome. > 3 <
But, um... Whenever I go here, it always says "Error 504 Gateway Timeout". = 3 =;
I've tried about 20 times ( desperation. eff. @ o @; ), but it always end up with that message.

We moved server a while ago; unfortunately the links in the first post don't work (and I can't edit the post as I didn't make it).

However the links in my post here should work fine.

Excuse me, it's been so long since I played this game that I'm stuck in some place. Everybody is talking about events that happen after the first 30 days, but when I play I always get the scene where
I have to defeat Natsuki. Like how do other people get to change sides, from being a rebel to what-ever-its-name-is? I'm seriously getting tired from trying to find a way to get the whole story and not just the surface where you kill Natsuki and return to your rebel life

To persuade any of the girls to switch sides and ally with you, you need to get their 'score' high enough. Exactly how depends on which girl, but generally you need to choose conversation responses that don't offend them (or cause them to think you're interesting/intelligent/awesome) and spend more time doing things they like doing (which also means you're more likely to trigger their conversation events).

e.g. Akane is sporty and likes studying geopolitics and science, so if you studied nothing but Geopolitics and Science, and spent all your free time at the sports field, you'd probably trigger all her conversations and also get bonus points for being physically fit (ha) and active. You still wouldn't be guaranteed to get the option to ask Akane to be your partner, but it'd probably come up even if you didn't make perfect conversation choices.

If you split your time equally between every school subject and every after-school activity then you're less likely to end up with any one girl - the likelihood is that you'll have good-but-not-great scores with all of them (well, unless you're trying to offend somebody...) which isn't good enough for any of them to become your partner.

A problem occurred while trying to start both games: "Sylph stopped working".
Any help?

Luckily (?) I get the same issue on my new computer, so I may have a solution of sorts.

If you download this file:

http://www.studiomab.co.uk/mab/MorningS ... 1Patch.zip

...and copy the 3 files in that zip into the MorningStarZwei folder (overwriting the existing ones) - does that help?

For me, it gets the game running, although without music - but at least it starts. Let me know if that helps at all. (A proper fix may be possible given some time...)
