Description
Occult Crime Police is a detective game in the style of Ace Attorney which tasks players with unravelling a strange and mysterious murder. Occult Crime Police revolves around searching the crime scene for evidence, then using that evidence to find flaws in witness testimony. Seven years ago, a missing persons case destroyed the reputation of Sheriff Miranda Warren. Now, a murder case at the same mysterious government facility offers her a chance at redemption. But to reach it, she’ll have to deal with a condescending FBI Agent, a main suspect who keeps lying to prove his own guilt, and whatever the hell a “Thought Influencer” is. Solve a mystery with washed-up police sheriff Miranda Warren, margarita chugging medical examiner Carlos Tsukada, and amateur paranormal photographer Ash Jager.

I want to say that Thank you for showing your game on discord, Your game was wonderful and though I did not have time to play it all, I liked the dialogue, the animation and how well done and polished the game was! The game reminded me of Ghost trick and ace attorney!

I'm absolutely floored that almost no one else has posted here, because I definitely had a presentation to finish tonight, but I played through this game in one sitting instead because the characters and the mystery absolutely just grabbed me and would not let go until I'd finished it.

The polish on the game is incredible - my roommates looked over my shoulder for a bit and they both commented that the animation was impressive and the music was catchy. I also forced them to stop what they were doing to watch Miranda throw her hat triumphantly because that was fantastic.

I really enjoyed going through and solving the mystery. As someone who has never played Ace Attorney, I wasn't totally sure what to expect with this game, especially the difficulty level. I tend to have trouble solving the mystery in mystery books or movies, and I wasn't sure I would be up to solving this one either. This actually turned out to be at the perfect difficulty level for me, though - it wasn't spoon-fed or immediately obvious, but I also didn't struggle for overly long on any one. It challenged me without frustrating me, basically.

I'm really interested now in that little spoiler tease, too... would love to play a sequel to this.
