STORY
Bara Boarders is a short and cute VN that takes place on an idyllic beach in Hawaii. You are a newbie surfer, whose been out on the waves enough times, but is aching to finally catch a wave and stay up on your board for the first time. You’re determined that today will be the day!

Thing is, you’re going to run into distractions, other handsome surfers - will they hinder or can they help you on your quest in paradise today?

Bara Boarders features a new Soulsoft EA game mechanic. At any point, you can click the “Phone Number” button on the HUD, essentially asking a guy for his phone number. If he’s feeling you, he’ll exchange numbers with you, but getting it is all about understanding the flow of conversation, social/emotional intelligence, timing and let’s face it…luck! (Like in real life)

i can't seem to get any of the guy phone number

Hey Damon,

What part of getting the number(s) are you having trouble with? I should, at some point, drop by here and do a write up (possibly per guy) on tips on how to win them over.

In general, the guys are 3 difficulties. Cliff being the easiest, Jesse Medium and Nikau being the hardest to win over. (If you look at their character cards, the "SURF LEVEL" stat, is actually a subtle indication)

So try going for Cliff first and then see how that works out for you.

I actually able to get the black guy but not so much with the bartender one and the cocky surfer one. its hard even tho i already tried being nice with them and even hit the cellphone at some different point still no luck.

Well, I'll give you a few hints.

For Jesse:

You need to generally be nice to him, but don't push him too hard for information if it seems like it's a topic that makes him uncomfortable. Don't drink too much either and remember to press the cellphone button after you've made at least a few choices. In other words, you'll need to talk to him for awhile before he gets comfortable enough to give you his #.

For Nikau:

Nikau is so used to being fawned over and complimented, that he actually responds better when you make fun of him. Although he likes being given a hard time, there are certain interests of his, that he doesn't like being made fun of. You'll have to gauge his responses accordingly.

and btw i got the bartender guy, the surfer is still the hardest and now i know why, i keep fawning over him xD

Haha, I've given you a hint but I know people are really unsure of how to get Nikau to drop his number. Here's the exact steps.

Select the following choices in this order, when in conversation with Nikau:

- "Then give me some tips"
- "You aren't Hawaiian"
- "You sure it's not a temporary one?"
- "Awesome!"
- "They're amazing!"

And that should be it! Oh, and don't forget to press the PhoneNumber button afterwards. lol. Duh.
