After 3 months of trying to find to true ending with no result,I'm resorting in my last option....

Oh! I remember playing this a few years ago when I was at the peak of my VN lust XD
It really creeped me out that I was afraid to make choices >_<

I played this game months ago... I tried many time but still can't found the True Ending (Ending 6). My laptop was broken after that (not because of playing too much KN/VN) and I stop playing it. I downloaded this game back last week.

Play and play it again, I still stuck between ending 2 and 4. I got ending 5 once. I tried really hard to understand this story to make a better choice but maybe because my English sucks lemon, I kinda clueless what's going on half of the game. LOL. But reading people's comment how they try over and over again makes me feel like I wanna keep trying until I got all endings or at least ending 6. (Though I'm thiiis close to PM Taleweaver for walkthrough)

But seriously, this game is hard! Because I always pick choices what I want to pick if I'm playing this kind of game. But with The Dreaming, I have to understand the story first... God, it's hard because I'm not a patient person. I think I may have develop schizophrenia and possibly ADHD... Haha..

EDIT:

Oh...my...that ending was unexpected, but awesome!!! Who would have guess that Julius had such a dark past (poor Jane T^T). Even though I love good endings, this has to be my most favorite route of all. So kudos for this great game!

i played your game and i loved it i loved the relationship ending but i could not get the final ending, the sixth one,the real ending would someone please give me a heads up.

I manage to got all endings thanks to Taleweaver.. Haha..

As for the true ending..

I actually have kinda feeling that Gabrielle is somewhat related to Julius. At first I thought Gabrielle is Julius's past. There was user thought Julius transgender and I thought the same too. (I thought Gabrielle 'is' Julius which means that Julius was a girl than decide to be a man). I also think this is somehow related to his sexuality. Because of what Dr.Marshall said and what Julius said what he think of the white woman (only have eyes but no face?). He said he doesn't doubt his masculinity or something. I also thought that Julius killed or maybe abuse Sarah while she was pregnant and that is why Sarah keep asking where is their daughter (meaning Sarah blamed Julius for their daughter death).

I think maybe because I was overthinking and that is why I cant find the true ending and the only solution is through the walkthrough. Haha.

After seeing the developer's notes, I click to 'Die Anstalt' and tried to play it. I can the a bit resemblance between that game and The Dreaming. Just now I manage to cure Sly the Snake! I feel like I want to cry.. Haha..

But I mostly click for pro assistance because otherwise I don't even know what to do. They are all so adorable and I feel pity that they are abused. Now I'm feeling bad about my toys....

Well, I just wanna say that this game is amazing. People should try to play it if you want to feel like 'mindf*ck'.. Haha..
