My first visual novel One Night Stand is out now on Playstation 4 (https://store.playstation.com/en-us/pro ... NIGHTSTAND) and Xbox One (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/one-n ... verviewtab). On Friday 4th October, it will also launch on Nintendo Switch (https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/o ... nd-switch/)
I'm so excited you guys! The original post for the Nanoreno game jam version is here: viewtopic.php?t=37475 It's come a long way since then!
Many thanks to those who have helped me on here (I bugged so many people trying to get the controllers set up correctly...) and Ratalaika Games who managed to successfully port Ren'Py to consoles! I can't recommend them enough. We got cool features like vibrate, cloud saves and motion controls (on Nintendo Switch) working:
Unlike other ports, this was done in Ren'Py, meaning you have complete control over how everything is set up. It was quite an involved process for me and my coding abilities are not so great, but otherwise it was straightforward. I also recommend having a publishing partner as publishing to consoles is difficult if you don't know what you're doing.
Anyway, I thought I'd share my news with you all. If anyone else is interested in porting their Ren'Py games to console, I'm happy to chat about the process
One Night Stand: Console Edition out now!

Re: One Night Stand: Console Edition out now!
Congratulation! I have played this game and it is a really nice one.
I'm happy to see it on switch, gonna buy it a second time
Well done, it's a great work.
Maybe if you have some time for it, you could open a thread to share your experience on porting your game on console?
Congratulation again
