Hi! I released a new Visual Novel called "You Are DanganPervert".

"Everyone lives in Harmony. The Ultimates are coming to your school. And you...are a gay pervert.

You play as a character named Masa, who is secretly a gay pervert in a talentless high school.

All of a sudden, you bump into The Ultimate Detective, a thicc emo boy.

Obviously, this is BL material, as it involves the gays. Also, this is a FANGAME. It's not actually canon (obv).

This includes bullying and hate too for one of the choices. Proceed at your own risk.

16+ only because of the "Best End" which I will not spoil for you."

Hi! Just an update.

Someone put a one-star rating today...I'm not trying to force you guys to give it 5 stars, but I want to ask something else from y'all: Please explain why you like/not like the game if you had downloaded it. The suspense is killing me slowly.

I wouldn't worry about 1 star reviews. Normally they're done for a few reasons, some of which I've listed below.

• In spite.

• The player had problems and no patience to try to find out how to fix it.

• The player was actually enjoying the game until you killed their favourite character or did something else they didn't like.

• The player barely played the game and didn't like it, so instantly gave it the lowest rating they could before moving on.

• Something in the game offended the player, possibly something they view as sexist or racist or otherwise, despite what it actually is or isn't. (In this case, they usually also report your game as inappropriate)

• Somebody believes you stole some portion of the game or claimed credit for something you didn't do.

The general recommendation is to ignore 1 and 5 star ratings as they're typically not reflective of the game and are just made emotionally.

I clicked on the link. The art work looks decent, but I have 'too many irons in the fire' right now to play test your game.
Having said all that, if the rater posted no comments, feel free to ignore the one star rating.

So 27 folks downloaded it. I assume that most of them thought it was at least okay, since they didn't rate or respond. As for the person (possibly a troll) who rated it as 1 star, you have no assurance that they even downloaded the game (much less played it), since your initial web page allowed rating without downloading first.

Update: My game on GameJolt has it's first rating of 100%! Whoever that person is, I must thank them.

PS. The game also hit 30 downloads today. Woohoo!

May I make a suggestion? I suggest you edit your first post (above) and add a screen-shot of the artwork.

It says that "Your images may only be up to 800 pixels wide", so I now have the screenshots on itch and gamejolt.
