I keep on getting Cain's bad endings, although I have seen the walkthrough and did the exact choices. Did it 3 times over, I'm getting tired. XD
When going to the mysterious shop, buying the curse removal book, I don't get a painting kit for free.
When doing the opposite, buying the painting kit, doesn't change anything either.
The choices
• Dad is not a failure!
• That’s not true!
• It’s all your own fault! (Cain’s good ending: Till Death Do Us Part)
*Option 2
• How about you?
• Do you know the reason why...?
• You have my father...
Don't pop up either.
Is the link at the first post the older version by any chance?

I'm pretty sure the link works. The game downloads, it says it's done, than it literally just takes me to a blank page Internet Explorer page when I try to open the file. I'm not really sure what else to say, sorry. Is there a different download I can try just in case?

There is only one other download in megaupload but it's down so it's the only source we have right now

I really like this game. I already got all of the endings, thanks to auto skip. Also, I like the story. The art is also kind of cute. It's worth the download.

Okay, I changed programs to try to open the file and here's the error code I got:
The specified module could not be found.
LoadLibrary(pythondll) failed.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make this work? Is there a specific program I should open it with?
EDIT: Nevermind, I was finally able to fix the problem.

when i click okay for playing the solitaire/card game why does the game always close by itself.

It turns out that that version of renpy I used isn't compatible with the solitaire, so you should basically skip it

i have finished downloading it but then the windows diagnostic messages popped up, stating one error.
well so i went into inside the winrar, i found there's no exe file inside just content, game, but no requiem of abyss.exe ;o;
help please?~
*i desperate to play the game
edit : i'm using windows 7 btw
