Re: Vera Blanc episode 1 "Full Moon" (commercial, mystery)

Okay, so I finished it two days ago... anyway.

I enjoyed it. It was longish, not too complicated, and the visuals are great - the "western" comic book style is a nice change from the usual VN-anime/manga-look.

I have no clue which ending I got, but it felt like a satisfying conclusion.
I killed the carpenter dude who was a werewolf in the end - I guess this is a good ending?

Some of the "game overs" are a tad random, but since you can always "mousewheel-up" to the last choice, it's tolerable. I really enjoyed the hangman-style-minigame - the "remember this set of numbers" minigame I could have done without, though.

The whole story kinda reminded me of the X-Files. I guess the chemistry between the two main characters could be improved in potential sequels in that regard - since this is the first part, it's okay, because the two of them just met, but I'd enjoy some more banter and / or sexual tension.

Yes the ending you got is one of the "good ending". The other involves not killing the werewolf (rather help him).
So you didn't like the memory game, ehe. Everyone keeps saying the hardest minigame is spot the difference :)
The 2nd episode definitely involves more "contact" between the two main characters, I was still a bit cautious about it to avoid potential discussions / scare a certain kind of customers away. If was doing this not thinking about the commercial aspect at all, I would have done it a bit different already.

The memory minigame was okay... I did not enjoy the "chase scene" minigame. The "spot the differences" was challenging, but okay.

If you really find yourself without any location to visit means you have an old fullversion, and you can redownload the correct one from my site.

Oh I used my save from the demo. I replayed again in Skip Mode and now I just entered Day 6. The day finished:
when I talked to Claudia Unger

Ah I think it might happen if you played an early demo, it doesn't unlock certain things :( I'm afraid but if is that case you need to restart from day1 (in practice you need to discover locke's woodwork shop otherwise you can't go on). Sorry about the problem.

Yes I didn't discovered it. I did now! And got both endings. Bad ending was cooler.

First when Moro dies examine surroundings. Solve the puzzle to open the cellphone. Make sure you looked at the old newspapers in the library. Then go home. When a call comes to you pick "Go to the appointment alone." After that pick the following:
1.Beg him to spare you
2.Talk About the wolf hunt
3.Tell him you're sorry
4. Revenge or Justice.
5. Lie to him
After that go home.
When events happen at home go to the warehouse.Solve the matching, find the differences, and the memory puzzle.
The game ends.

You're welcome. When I saw the photos in the cell phone I was scared a little. It was so sudden. I didn't expect to have a werewolf photo.
@Jack does the werewolf kill it's last victim in the bad ending???

 In other words, is there an ending I haven't found yet in which
Mayor Hertz is killed by the werewolf after being arrested and in which Brandon doesn't shoot it dead ?

Qookies:
No in the bad endings werewolf is shot just before laying the death blow on Hertz.
Aashtarsrain:
In the ending where you don't kill the werewolf, major Hertz is arrested but not killed, then the story ends. Or better, Vera moves away half-guilty to have let the werewolf alive, even if he promised to stop the killing if they framed the criminal organization. But she wonders if he'll keep his word?

Just a short note, the game is now available on iPhone. Doesn't have minigames, since would have been impossible to implement them on the small screen size (but on the iPad version they'll be present):
