Zenith Chronicles Demo Contest!

Hi, LSF forumites! Please forgive my abuse of power in making this an announcement, but I wanted to tell you about the Zenith Chronicles Demo Contest!

Contests have become a sort of tradition in the games I've made, and this one is no different. It's easy to enter:

• Play the demo (v.1.1) located at http://www.mangodrop.com/zenith/game.html
• Beat the 3rd mission on Hard mode
• Enter the secret code you get on the website

If your name is one of the entries drawn, you can win Mango Drop pins, posters, and/or a $20 Amazon.com gift card! Yaaaay!

As for the full game, the release candidate is complete, and we're determining the distribution method right now. There's always so much to do!

btw, the bubbles are too hard to see. this is a great game otherwise (especially the boss), but that aspect really annoyed me.

LVUER: You don't have to be in the US to enter, so knock yourself out!

KimiYoriBaka: You're a fast one! The demo was meant to be quick since it was available for play at Sakuracon. Levels in the full version are longer and more of a challenge (if you keep it on hard mode.) Some legends in the full game have speed requirements.

You can play in full screen mode if you go into the Options menu, select Display --> Full Screen, and then restart the program. In full screen, remember you can pause the game (space bar) to bring up the menu that lets you return to the title screen and quit. Thanks for the comments

no no. what I mean by half the screen is that I don't like not being able to move the character across the entire screen. I was trying to beat the first mission without firing and getting annoyed that I couldn't move around the enemies. Plus in general, I like point-blanking the enemies as they come on the screen.

Which is exactly why you can only move over half the screen, in order not to exploit the engine by moving behind the enemy waves

So that's because of the downtime then? Because I tried the link a couple of days back and got the same result. Sooo, I thought that maybe the link was broken instead of it being downtime. But then again, what do I know >.>

edit: Well, I called GoDaddy, and they said it might be a caching issue. Does it work if you clear out your internet browser cache (Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Clear Now) and then refresh the site?

Due to some poor visibility on my part, there are not many entries for the January drawing. If you enter for the January drawing, your chances of winning are VERY good. Like really really super-amazingly good.

The amazon gift card does not work on other amazon websites. ^^" I called the amazon service before (I wanted to buy a gift card for a friend). So basically, the card could not go to the amazon.fr or amazon.de websites.



...also, what I learnt yesterday? I suck at shooting games. xD
