Haha, this has come to my attention recently when I was looking for a good name for my VN making self. xD I've usually only used twitter for a class that made us work on it, so I can't use that account.

On a serious note, is it worth having? Like I said, I haven't much of a clue about it. I barely use facebook.

No need to worry, there is a lot of people that don't get twitter ^^;
And worth having.. well, it depends on what you want it to do.
I see twitter mainly as a "update thingy", where sites (jastUSA/sankaku/other blogs/similar) can tell me
when they got a new post/new info in. Otherwise, it's just a random site where you can say whatever you want
using 140 characters. You can also use it to check trends (since it has the #taghere system) and similar. :3

Ah, I see. Hmmm, I don't think I would like it much. I don't really like knowing about something unless it is important. And I am terrible at keeping up with communication... stuff. Even on DA I had to seriously work on getting over 4000 messages down to a more manageable 400 that I actually might have to respond to. I feel really bad if I don't answer people though.

I think I prefer blogs, they have pretty pictures :3

Twitter is basically like a place where you can easily "tweet" about anything you want. All your followers will see the update, and basically, a quick way to do this.
Because so many people also have Twitter on their phones, tweeting is convenient.
