Best Recital Piece
Hello ^^
Can any Music lover out there, or anyone who knows music, help me in picking the best piano musicale piece (preferably classical) suited for recital purposes. Any version of any classical music is accepted. Sites or links as to where any piano score could be found is also appreciated.
Thank you in advance!!! ^^

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I've always rather fond of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. Sheet music available on musopen.com.

"Moonlight Sonata" is beautiful. I can only play part of it at the moment.
Right now, I'm working on "Solfeggietto" by C. P. E. Bach. It's supposed to be like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsoRYz7gvno# but I can only play it at about half this speed right now :/
I'm also learning a piece called "Song Without Words" but I forget who it's by..

@Wintermoon: I've already played Moonlight Sonata 2nd movement, what moonlight sonata do you speak of? well, I was looking for a score that has this feeling of sorrow yet delivers a pure impact. Do you get what I mean, hehe
@RemnantDream: I think "Song without words" is from Felix Mendelssohn...Maybe. And yes, Solfeggietto is also good. I'll keep that in my mind.
@OtomeWeekend: Yes, Canon in D was the first piece I played and is the sole piano score I'm truly i love with. I'm learning its other alterations and Canon in C. As for Chaconne vitali, I learned it but it doesn't quite suit my taste...also, I think it would suit for violin.

Canon D, I also love it.
I don't know if I could include the whole concerto, but I love "St. Elmo Fire" the most. I'm in the middle of looking for it but never managed to find it... could anyone tell me the link?

Yeah, it is Mendelssohn.
Claire de Lune by Debussy is beautiful. I'm learning that as well.

There is Franz Schubert's "Serenade". I think I prefer it played on violin rather than piano, but it's beautiful in whatever form it takes ^_^

Re: Best Recital Piece
now that you've said it Chaconne vitali is usually played with flute mainly and just accompanied with piano I forgot the flute part completely *smacks herself*
