Hello all.
It's been a little while that I use Ren'Py,
So I realize that I don't even know what language I'm utilising !
it is Python ? Or maybe a special language build by Pytom....
I check the web page but I still not sure....

It is Python. But RenPy's python have been altered a bit to make things a lot easier. But if there's a function that doesn't exist in RenPy, you could always go back to "pure" python and make it on your own (that's why RenPy is pretty flexible if you know Python programming).
Just like the Game Maker which is built using Pascal and new RPG Maker using Ruby language.

The Ren'Py script language is actually it's own language. It borrows a lot from Python - for example, all the expressions are lifted wholesale from Python, and Python is used to implement it. But I'd argue that the script language is its own language.

There are so many languages in the world and you should know first your interest. Which programming language do you like most and feel comfortable with it. Choose the language in witch you can perform better. If it takes a time to decide then does not matter.
