Depends on what kind of dough you're talking about. It could be chocolate chip, peanut butter, etc. Eating raw dough probably isn't recommended though because it could have raw eggs in it. And besides, wouldn't you want to have an actual cookie instead?Mocha07734 wrote:... does cookie dough count?

Re: What's your favorite type of cookie?
KOURAMBIETHES! so. good. and chestnut butter cookies, and macarons (the sandwich kind), and super thin lacey almond cookies that are like 50+% sliced almonds. Those are real special treats.
I also like good old chocolate chip (with lots of brown sugar) and peanut butter, or anything mixing peanut butter and chocolate chips.
Butter cookies are great, though-- tiny cookies in big batches, great as gifts, and they can be made into adorable shapes (I made pink ones shaped like cherry blossoms once). I wonder what a mint butter cookie would taste like. Or maybe I could mix some raspberry jam into a cookie and coat the bottom with dark chocolate and drizzle white chocolate on top.
my mom has celiac disease so I like to think up gluten-free recipes that don't taste like crap, too.
Cookies fresh from the oven taste so good.
I also recently got a penguin-shaped cookie cutter that I can't wait to try out.

Re: What's your favorite type of cookie?
I have lived in England for years and I still can't figure out the precise details in the usage of 'biscuit' vs 'cookie' in the UK. What, precisely, do you call a cookie and NOT a biscuit? I thought they were all biscuits?Desu_Cake wrote:Took me a while to realise ye were talking about biscuits, not just cookies.

Re: What's your favorite type of cookie?
In England and Ireland, a cookie is a type of biscuit. Cookies only refer to the fat, buttery biscuits. Other biscuits like kimberleys, digestives and pink wafers (Mmm pink wafers) are not cookies.
Re: What's your favorite type of cookie?
So, it's basically the opposite of what it is over here? Also, 'digestives' do not sound particularly appealing.
