My parents stopped bugging me about it 10 years ago. Every once in a while they have to get out "Are you STILL playing computer games/watching cartoons/reading comics"
I was a bit worried about my son becoming anti-social so I told him to invite his friends over to game. Sometimes there would be three different kids on three different systems: PS2, computer, DS.

But they would stop to talk to each other, ask for directions on how to win a level, or just laugh at something funny on Facebook.

No one's ever really told me to stop playing video games ... In fact, it was pretty encouraged my whole life. "Let's go to the computer store and buy a game!" was a great family outing as a kid, and one of my best birthdays was getting my first Playstation. Now, people have suggested I "get out and do more." And that's okay, because that's true. I haven't really run into any scowling faces from playing video games ... My degree gets more "uh really?" than anything else.

This only means one thing: We are all hard headed closet gamers and a bad child to our parents

From what I've seen, everything is about grades huh?
XD
The thing is, in university we are given powerpoint presentations and we learn from there. Mom and dad at first asked me to stop, but then I show them the powerpoint slides and every time I'm on the computer without any sounds on they think I'm learning *is shot*

Mum:
"Stop playing that stupid thing, your eyes will melt out of their sockets."
"Real ladies don't play this rubbish!"
"You've got no life..."
"Stop wasting your time and hurry up and study. I'm not paying for *goes off into rant*"
Dad:
"Hey, if you get off that thing I'll buy you the new Pokemon games."

Love my dad.
