Also, yes...there's a difference between American / American "English" and "the other English" there's even a difference between flags!
Just saying.

There's no such thing as "American" by itself that constitutes a language by that designation. It's only American English and the other countries that have other dialects/variations such as England/UK and Australia.
I don't even call it American English, but Global English lol

Updated! I've been a bit busy today, sorry it wasn't quicker.

Not really checking the forums any more due to time constraints, so if you want to contact me, PM. I'll get a notification and log in.
Also, I've been hit and run posting, which means I don't see many replies. If you want to respond to something I've said, also feel free to PM me.

NOTE: if you've got questions about vnovel or things like that, it's Leon that you should be contacting. Leon's been pretty much handling everything, but due to various reasons, I've had to withdraw entirely.

^You'd be surprised how many girls there are on rpgmaker sites. Most of the artists are girls ... it's like universal or something.

male to female is almost 1:2 O_o

If I'm still kinda new here, I would probably think... "Why should I give out my information >:o"
but after being used to lemmasoft and figured out that the people here are nice, I suddenly thought... "Ooh, this looks fun! I'll be part of it too :D"

Just so this thread doesn't go on forever - let's run it for another week, and then limit it to analysis of the results.

In the meantime, here's some fun demographics. I queried the accounts of the 908 users active for the last 21 days, and then took a look at their birthday year. The result is this graph, which skews older than I thought it would.

Code: Select all

1907 (age 105) 1 *
1908 (age 104) 2 **

1910 (age 102) 2 **
1911 (age 101) 2 **

1917 (age 95) 1 *

1927 (age 85) 1 *

1950 (age 62) 1 *

1962 (age 50) 1 *
1963 (age 49) 1 *

1965 (age 47) 1 *
1966 (age 46) 1 *
1967 (age 45) 3 ***

1969 (age 43) 2 **
1970 (age 42) 5 *****
1971 (age 41) 1 *
1972 (age 40) 3 ***
1973 (age 39) 1 *
1974 (age 38) 3 ***
1975 (age 37) 5 *****
1976 (age 36) 5 *****
1977 (age 35) 1 *
1978 (age 34) 3 ***
1979 (age 33) 6 ******
1980 (age 32) 11 ***********
1981 (age 31) 7 *******
1982 (age 30) 9 *********
1983 (age 29) 15 ***************
1984 (age 28) 21 *********************
1985 (age 27) 27 ***************************
1986 (age 26) 26 **************************
1987 (age 25) 39 ***************************************
1988 (age 24) 27 ***************************
1989 (age 23) 63 ***************************************************************
1990 (age 22) 58 **********************************************************
1991 (age 21) 49 *************************************************

1998 (age 14) 1 *
1999 (age 13) 2 **

No age: 333
Total: 908
What's the chance that so many supercentenarians would congregate on our little forum? Also, take these numbers with a grain of salt - one of the major reasons for giving a birthday is to gain access to the adult forums - and I suspect that some people might have - exaggerate - their age for that purpose.

Why, back in my day, we only had one type of tsundere! And we didn't have no route choices, neither! You took the route your parents planned for you, and dagnabbit, that's they way we liked it!

There's a game mechanic in there, I tell you. (Play Act 1 as the parent, and the rest of the game from the child's perspective.)
