Posting a completed game

#1 Post by dechorus » Sun Dec 25, 2011 7:00 pm

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum.

I'm almost certain this post doesn't belong here, but I was unsure where else I could ask. In any case, please excuse me if this ought to be elsewhere.

I have a visual novel I'd like to share in the "Completed Games" section - but it was not made using any sort of editor that others seem to be using. I programmed this game completely by myself, and it's actually an adventure game, only with lots of dialogue. There is a point and click interface, so the game is not entirely linear. On top of that, I've borrowed art and graphics from all over the internet (though I've credited them, and this game is completely a fan project).

With all that said, does my game belong in the Completed Games section? Does it even belong on these forums? o_O

I personally believe that this game categorically fits in as a visual novel more than any other sub-genre out there, which is how I stumbled upon these forums...! And I'd absolutely love some feedback from you all you forum-goers.

If I can get some sort of green light, I'll post my game up in the appropriate forum.

Thank you all for reading :)
