I think I like the idea of the characters being premade better. If they come from other games/projects, their interactions could be rather amusing, and could even serve to point people in the direction of the game(s) from which they came. Twofer!

I'd absolutely LOVE to see my fav VN charas randomly meeting. Like people from Rock Robin and people from, I dunno, Lucky Rabbit Reflex? I love those games~ LOL, let's make this happen :3

I'd be glad to participate, though, wheather or not my writing would be serious will need to be seen. Are we gonna go for a serious tone or something fun and not-so-serious?

True, we should pick now. Comedic or serious?

I vote comedic. It will give people outside the VN community to play it (everyone loves a good laugh) and will allow us to be freer with the characters than otherwise. Or give it a serious topic, but have the characters interact humorously.

I think I am honestly surprised that there is talk of this coming to fruition. I'm even more surprised that something like this hadn't come up before.

We should probably let people get a few more votes in before we settle on anything.

Awww I likes you too *bro-hugs teh Gear* ;)
*hugs teh other forumites, too*

As for a collab game, I'm reminded of MegaTokyo, where it never really worked out... From my personal experience and opinion, I suggest making it as modular as possible. By that I mean having it so everyone can take care of their own character on their own, and have minimal crossover. That reduces the coordination needed, as well as the impact of people who drop out (which will almost definitely happen.)

Maybe a sort of mini-game type model, like those VN companies make where they put characters across series together would be good. Like Alicesoft and Elf have done (uh, don't google those, kids :P )

Simple is best :)
