I didn't create a WIP, but that's probably a good thing because it doesn't look like I'll finish up this month anyway. I've still only got one completed route~
Maybe I'll make a non-NaNo WIP next month.
I hate how we're forced to wake before the sun rises, how we're forced to sit down for long periods of time, how we're forced to take up subjects we don't want, how we're forced to spend so much time with people we don't like.
Why do we have to do homework, why do we have to do projects.
Why do we work so hard for years, only to have our entire fate depend on that one national examination
Yes, I'm a whiny loser, yes yes, just needed to vent a bit, excuse me pls hoho

Anyway I might upload the NVL no sprite version later. :v

Ugh, THIS. It's why I rarely ever enter the regular NaNo contest--it also happens around the same time every single term paper is due within the same week of each other. Right now, it's not as bad, but on top of my overdue research paper (which my prof was kind enough to give me an extension for) and upcoming English paper (which I haven't even started GAH), I also had to do a ton of short chapter reports. I get the feeling NaNo in general is meant more for post-university full-time-job adults who have finally worked up the confidence to do something they've always wanted to and just shrug off anyone who dismisses writing, or for high school kids who only have a few small assignments to hand in but are also interested in getting into writing for the first time and want to sharpen their skills and dedication. It is most definitely NOT for university students who have to tackle several smaller homework assignments and then one or two large ones over the course of the same month.
Yeaaaah, that's why I could barely work on my art assets for my NaNo this year. I had Illustration and Watercolor to prioritize and then oops, art history midterm to study for.
Oh well, in my case I'm glad I finally have an idea I want to execute. It's been years since I had an idea I wanted to put in VN form.
I've got a nice pile of paperwork to do. Looks like I wont be sleeping tonight.

Due an emergency that happened a month ago and my healthcare, I had to splurge expenses which leaves no room for my Visual Novel fund orz. I really can't start a kickstarter to fund my Visual Novels because I'm a nobody and don't have an audience and I have a hard time picking up a job due to my health. T_T
If I were more confident in my art, I would start commissions but I don't think I'll get any buyers >->;;

Start offering commissions. You have NOTHING to lose, and everything to gain.
Some of my visual novels are at http://www.the-new-lagoon.com. They are NSFW
Poorly done hand-drawn art is still poorly done art. Be a Poser (or better yet, use DAZ Studio 3D) - dare to be different.

this... just about sums up why I'm still not done with my part on nano.ugh. EDIT:
just finished the sprites for nano..ugh.
but right now I'm having a bit of problem with my laptop
today I restarted my computer but now its stuck on the restarting screen and won't let me open my laptop ugh...what did I do?
Now I can't work on my projects...
I've been working on my VN, Memoria, for quite a looooong time already, but artist issues are keeping it from being a reality. On the plus side, I AM working on a smaller side VN.
And... found out that it was Norton Internet Security that's been BSODing my relatively new computer (6 months)... can't believe I wasted ~$30 >_<

Welcome to the long-runner party.
On a side note, I wish midterms could have been delayed until AFTER Spring Break. But then if that happened I probably would have been in here complaining they were after a break. Can't win em all :V
