Thanks; we caught it early! It looks like we're not going to have any more problems as long as we keep vacuuming to make sure we got everything.

And I can relate to the noise- holy barrels, I hate it when people are loud in quiet places. People being loud in libraries is what gets my goat.

I uh..... didn't do so well in my exams so now I feel dead. Also I have this strong urge to do something wrong and stupid. Things have been going so wrong this year I don't even know what to do anymore.

One of the most irritating comments you can get on a thing you've drawn is, "It looks like [insert some other character]! Good picture though!"

Look, you can think it, but I don't need to know it nor do I need a backhanded comment like that. It's just REALLY annoying.

Really? I'd find that a compliment.
It's just an observation :\

Then again, I've been on the other side when I though it was a character and asked if it was and the other person snapped my head off, so maybe I see it in a different way.

It's not a compliment. It undermines the effort a person puts into a picture and you're basically misinterpreting the intent behind it in the first place. There's nothing helpful about it either. What, the character I drew looks like [whoever]? So??? What then????

Agreed, it also makes artist feel somehow unoriginal, or might give him/her the impression 'You can't think of anything cool on your own, you just copy others'.

To clarify, I wouldn't say that making such a comment is completely off limits. If anything, it's only helpful if it's used to say, "Hey, your character might look too much like this well known one, could I offer you advice on how to make it better?" Like, that would actually be helpful. Otherwise, it's not a positive comment to make.

Meh, maybe I'm just one of those glass half full instead of half empty. I'd rather take it as a compliment than a insult.

In this case, it's a glass of basically nothing.

Just wrote a review for a game made by one of my favorite game companies. I really love their games, but in this particular game... Every love interest except one used physical violence against the main character. At one point, she is terrified of one of the guys and hopes "he is enough of a gentleman not to hit a girl." A different love interest threatens to rape her, then she tells him it's okay, and that she somehow pushed him to try to rape her. Then she keeps dating him.

I think this kind of thing is really harmful, and I couldn't say nothing. I had to write that review. But I really respect this game company and I'm really worried and nervous about what kind of response I'm going to get. T.T Ugh.

And just when I started to seriously study how Social Networking works with the intention of eventually using it, Facebook locked my account because my profile photo (see my Avatar) isn't handsome enough for their taste and want me to provide I.D. and other verification documents...

...Uncle Mugen says No

In good news, I got invited to Ello :)

Edit: For those who are regularly using Facebook to PM me (that funny little tab window thing)... you can contact me reliably via email at "mugenjohncel@yahoo.com"... thanks! :)

All I'm gonna say here is that I'm extremely disappointed with how my childhood friend ended up. I could write so much more on this though.
Although she never admitted it, all her actions gave me the feeling she wanted to pretend I don't exist, and that's the worst feeling in the world, to hear that from someone you deeply care about. I'm pretty sure she still thinks that way and I guess she can do that really easily now cause we blocked each other. I'm not sure what kind of resolution I can have to this other than moving forward with my life and meeting people who are happy to see that I exist. The whole experience was dragged out and sucked the life out of me for the whole time. I suppose it gave me a new appreciation for all of my friends, but it was still really painful and sucked a lot.

I suppose I'm venting about this because I have the memories still, and I really love those memories... but she doesn't remember them, and doesn't seem to want to, and it's like I'm holding onto something that has been long left behind. But I still love it anyway. It's just sad to think about how things ended up as they are now compared to how happy we both were back then.

EDIT: Just realized her friends started blocking me too. They didn't even say anything to me before doing it, and even AGREED with what I was saying. That's messed up! And you wonder why I keep feeling betrayed?

So, someone happened to step on my USB. Now, whenever I try to save a file on it, the program freezes.
So I try to copy and paste the raw files onto my computer and open them that way and the computer whines that they are corrupted. So THEN I try to open the ones still on the USB, and they don't open either. So, now I've lost tons of progress on my current VN which is troublesome. Although I have a backup, there's still a fair bit of info I will have to rewrite, and I lost important things, like the story map and the programming that goes along with the story map...
What's in a loop? A loop iterated in any other way would output as sweet.
