I would like something similar to the IMDB. You click on game, and you get who worked on it and reviews for it, and links to official websites. You could then link on one of the creators and get a list of projects they have worked on with their contact information.

Once again, I am willing to write the code for it and moderate it.

I'm getting you an FTP account so that you'll have access (hopefully I'm doing this right  )
I'll PM you the info for it. I like the idea myself...
Edit: having trouble with it, so this might take a bit...

Not really checking the forums any more due to time constraints, so if you want to contact me, PM. I'll get a notification and log in.
Also, I've been hit and run posting, which means I don't see many replies. If you want to respond to something I've said, also feel free to PM me.

NOTE: if you've got questions about vnovel or things like that, it's Leon that you should be contacting. Leon's been pretty much handling everything, but due to various reasons, I've had to withdraw entirely.

I think that the difference between IMDB and vndb.org is that IMBD has profiles for actors, directors, and those sorts of things. Profiles for individual VN makers sounds interesting to me. That being said, I suspect there's more that the VN community needs, but this is a place to start.

I think it would definitely be awesome if there was a site where we could see which creators were in involved with what. A lot of studios seem to recruit people on a per-project basis, so if Game X from Studio K has an awesome composer, you would be able to find that composer's other projects, if they're doing work outside of Studio K, etc.

For a VN creator listing, I would highly encourage including images with each group/individual listed (like a 200x40 banner or something). This can give people a different impression on the group than just going by name and would also make the page more visually appealing IMO.... (probably jumping the gun here xD;;;; )

I think that that'd be pretty cool. I guess another idea would be for the list of completed projects or WIPs to have pictures too. Pretty things look... prettier

Good luck - I can't really foresee myself being able to contribute, but I'll be your male cheerleader. My sister has a short skirt somewhere, I'm sure.

I find http://vndb.org/ very hard to use.

It does have most of the features I would want, but it feels more like a catalog than an information site. Many of the titles don't have descriptions. I get kinda lost in it.

Things I would add:
- reviews
- if you liked this, you might also like...
