I forgot about that--though I think they came around to our workplace to get donations a few weeks ago. (Before fasting month obviously, can you imagine donating blood during that time? Everyone probably would have fainted D:)

Fasting month aka Ramadhan. One of the month in Hijri Calendar. During this month the muslims all over the world will fasting starts from sunrise until sunset. During the night, we will perform solah called taraweeh, it has no limit on how many 'rakaah' (a set of action) but the most popular are 8 to 20 'rakaah' and there are ones who perform up to hundreds of them.

Ah yes. Now I know that. I don't know the English word. We also have that here (we call it "puasa"). I get it the moment you say "Ramadhan".

Don't be afraid, it's not like the needle kills you unless it's contaminated.

One of the luckiest blood type carrier in the world. Unless you have other problem which is blood related like Thalassemia, Anemia etc... I'm not as lucky as you're but I'm grateful for not carrying any of this problem

I hate needles. I remember when I got my blood tested I was tricked into it, and the lady who took it didn't know what blood type I was. To paraphrase her "I think it's O, but I'm not sure..."
Yeah. 8 year old me was so happy to know that the woman had no idea what she was doing.

I just found out that my bloodtype is B.

All my life I thought I was an A.

The weird thing is, neither of my parents are B. o_O
