What are your favourite VN Characters?

Saya, from Saya no uta
A masterpiece, to be sure... a masterpiece of pure madness, that takes you down with it.
Little needs to be said.
Honorable mention to tanbo, though.

Hanako, Lilly and Shizune from katawa shoujo.
Hanako and Lilly have so many fans, I doubt explanation is even helpful.
although shizune's [non-beta] route sucks at the end, truth be told. I thought I'd hate her, but once I got in her route, I really grew to like her personality! The opposite is true of rin, who I loved... UNTIL I got to her route, when it went downhill fast.

Slavya, Alisa and possibly Lena from everlasting summer.
Lena just has the best (bad) ending in the game, IMO...
Which makes me like her more than I otherwise would, possibly.
Jury is out on if she's my favorite character, or if I'm just loving the story.
Alisa's route could be a large part in my sudden motivation to make a VN.

Okosan from hatoful boyfriend.
If you've played hatoful boyfriend, you know why.
Possibly nageki, too.

Mizuki Kirimiya from yume miru kusuri.
Honestly, the game was okay...
But I loved this character.

Ein, Zwei and Drei from phantom of inferno
(although I gave up and saw the anime and OVA instead...
The DVD game I have simply doesn't work. Audio is broken in many spots)

About a third of the cast of cross channel.
For spoilers reasons: I won't say who, or why.
Maybe I can say nanaka, at least.
That one is obvious.

Just look at him... who wouldn't fall for this guy? The friendly smile that will bring world peace, That mustache that can seduce men, women and objects, That glamorous (but ridiculously hard to maintain) long hair that is the envy of the Greek Gods... and YES! He is one of the good guys!!! ... for me, this guy is the perfect VN character that can fit in "almost" any genre... if only he were a bit younger, he could be a main protagonist in an eroge VN where all endings are harem endings...

There are probably others too... but for most of my favorite VNs it's been more about the STORY than the character. It's hard to get really good characters.

My first favorite one, the one that really got me into VNs, was Lilly Satou (KS). Since then though, she's been usurped as best girl by Sachi Komine (Grisaia). I mean, how can you not love her? The perfect balance of lovable and entertaining.

Pretty much all the Hatoful Boyfriend characters, especially Shuu Iwamine. I love that fat bird.
