Enjoy your stay here.
Being new you might want to read the image next to the set avatar box though:
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 120 pixels, the height no greater than 120 pixels, and the file size no more than 12 KB.
As mine is only just within the size limit yours is a little on the large size. Larger avatars just look annoying and they stretch the sidebar.

Indeed, newbification does infact burn, quite painfully, I may add, until of course you become accustomed to the burning sensation, then it just feels like everyone's watching ya!
