Starry~Sky series translation...?

Um, guys...does anyone here know Japanese and is willing to be the translator of the Starry Sky series? I found a VN translation group, they said that they might take care of the hacking, scripting and programming it to the game series... (I know it's hard but the translating machines gets on my nerves, and I'll take a long time if I want to study Jap properly. I really need your help).

Back in 2010, a team called OGE translated Starry Sky in Spring. It's described as a "secretive group" on the VNDB, and it does not seem to have a website, forum, or anything similar.

You'll see some discussions about fan translations on this forum, but this is not the best place for recruiting translators or organizing a team. Some better places to find help include the Novelnews forum ("Encubed Gemot") and perhaps /visualnovels/ on Reddit. My Neoromance is focus on GxB, so be sure to check their forum.

Oh well.. I think it's kind of difficult to find them XDD !
I had here Starry sky in autumn and winter, but Instead I use Translation Aggregator.
and I also thought that if they were to release it, maybe it'll take too long

There are some groups who are talking about this in hongfire ? IDK.. But I think that's it ?

I don't think they need a group, cuz I've already found a group, but they said they lacked of translators so I'm hoping to find one or two translators for them. That group will do the programming and hacking, coding stuff. So...TRANSLATORs needed. (Btw, that group is not mine, I'm just looking for a translator...)

Didn't Starry Sky get confirmed to be licensed recently? I might be confusing it for another series.

I'm just holding out for someone to translate Lamento, myself.

Jast indicated they were trying to license it, and there were secret talks, but since nothing was ever announced I think it's safe to assume those talks never went through.

If I remember correctly I believe JAST said that there were problems with the voice actors license? That either they couldn't obtain it or it was too expensive I don't remember. I'm not sure if they're still trying to work something out or if they just dropped it.

Yeah I think it might be difficult to find translators willing to work on a patch. A few of my friends like to translate otome games from time to time, but they create a wiki to post them in. Many believe that patches lead to increased piracy (which is true) so I'm not sure how many you'll find willing to contribute.

So far I only know of an unofficial patch for the Starry Sky ~in spring~ game, but you might have to look around a bit to find it since many unofficial patches have either been taken down or are gathering dust out there. I do remember JAST looking into licensing it, but nothing was ever said afterward. I heard/read somewhere that there was an issue about voice licensing as well. Also, it might be difficult to find a couple of translators willing to translate such a huge amount of text.

Thanks for all your help. I know finding one is hard cuz all the licensed stuff and look at the amount of the text LOL... I don't even know where to start asking or searching. That group lacks of translators and it's quite a big problem.

I would be up for it, except I don't know any Japanese OTL
However, I do wish for the translations of the Starry~Sky series, since I'm personally a fan of them and I would love for the games to be available in English. Even though I won't be able to physically contribute, I'll support you guys. Good luck with finding translators.
