Plagiarism issue

#1 Post by chisa-chan » Thu Mar 15, 2007 3:41 am

I decided to bring this issue to international public after I read the newspapers here.

After I read readers' mail section in the two newspapers in here (Indonesia), I feel very sorry for those who complained about plagiarisms those were done by the production houses here.

I wondered if the production houses here are out of ideas that they must plagiarize many popular Japanese/Korean drama and manga stories, the most notably one is a TV drama that plagiarized One Liter of Tears (from the story to dialogs, all of them are same!)

I feel really ashamed for this!!

I feel your frustration. The GMA show Super Twins is a blatant rip of sailormoon and all other transforming magical girls in minskirts anime.
How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)

The irony is that hardly any woman here wears any skirts at all, much less miniskirts.

I am so not into hot pants.

If I see any skirts at all, my heartbeat slows down 25% and my bad day becomes a good day.

I like anything that goes 'swish swish' and is fluffy.

On Topic: The way I combat this is to not support these kinds of shows and only watch the originals. Not that it actually makes an impact in viewership, though.

And since when has any mainstream station produced anything original anyway?

Yah, you said it DaFool! Hehe but It does make good material for making anti-local-networks essays for me though.

Then, you may want to consider a vacation in Central Europe in the summer.

Although lordcloux has forbidden me to talk in the name of the rest of the women, I don't believe that any woman could want to wear nothing but shorts, miniskirts or short dresses in the summer in Spain, Italy or Greece (and no we don't do topless at the street. I know how your dirty minds work  ). If we could go nude at the streets we probably would do it  .

And I have noticed that lately taiwanese dramas are more manga related (hanakimi adaptation, hanadan adaptation, etc), but it's not a bad thing if they have paid for the rights. Taiwanese producers know that an adaptation of a popular japanese manga is always a guarantee of exit.

BTW Why don't they use talented actors and actress instead of idols?. Ella from She destroyed the hanakimi taiwanese drama. The song her group sings for the drama is really catching, but her acting... if someone can call it actually acting...

Ok, ok. I know it's an off-topic post

mokenju1: I hope I didn't come out as being mean or rude that time. If I did, I apologize.

hehe skirts aren't in fashion for street wear where I'm from right now too unless you consider the short, skimpy, clingy ones worn in night spots. (I'm not complaining )

Korean dramas seem to be getting anime-ized too, athough that's a good thing because they retain a certain level of originality while giving their stories that anime feel. Ahem, unlike the blatant copycats of gma and abs.

Don't worry lordcloux, you had reason in that comment  . I have not been appointed as the women's new spokesperson (yet). I'm sometimes too sarcastic

I mean Central Europe in general, at least I always see how very fashion-conscious the women are in here. I lived in Canada for a long time and it's definitely a very different story there, but of course the lifestyles aren't quite the same. It's debatable whether that's a positive or negative thing though.

This was just an observation, in fact miniskirts are too aggresive for my taste, I actually prefer the longer ones that go below knees. Same with make-up and high-heeled shoes, to complete the stereotypes. High heels are simply stupid and make-up is quite disgusting as well. Luckily my wife doesn't wear any make-up and I think that we both have a thing for casual wear. To each their own. :)

I hate miniskirts generally, and miniskirts might be forbidden in Indonesia (if anyone wears miniskirts, law might talk)

Are you serious  ?. In that case I'm happy that the spanish gobernment has not feel the need yet to tell the citizens what they should wear (although obviously you can't go nude, public scandal law.)

And it's funny how when someone talk about miniskirts, people thinks in make-up and high heels. Hey, I'm not a gal  . I wear miniskirts every summer and I don't have high heels shoes and I don't use make up (I'm more on the tomboyish,sporty-side  )

I'm absolutely serious! There was once a plan by the government to release an anti-porn sets of rules (which is TOO strict, and of course, from the draft I've read in the newspaper, it disadvantages women so I hate it), however, it is unclear until now.

Alright, I'll pull a conclusion, I don't care whatever I wear as long as it is proper and doesn't break manners.

Wasn't there recently something of a kerfuffle regarding the Indonesian edition of Playboy? (One which does not feature nudity.)

Yes, there was. In fact, many people refused this ever since before the first issue appeared. I never hear anything about this issue recently, though...
