Naze, Nani, Hisoka! - Interview with Professional VN VA Qs?
Mirror of the なぜ、なに、ヒソカ!(Naze, Nani, Hisoka!) thread on the Gemot.
"VisualNews is heading out to Sakura-con this year. Unfortunately, getting some dates confused, we didn't get to sign up for a full panel at the con, though you can visit us at "Sad Girls in the Snow, A showing of Kira -snowdrop-" at the Creation Station on either Saturday or Sunday (cant remember the exact date). Equipped with my press badge though, I intend to get my interview with the weapon of indiscriminate mass destruction herself, Kaori Nazuka, Hisoka!
For those who haven't played Gadget Trial, I would highly suggest downloading the trail version and give it a whirl. It's an addictive little game made by the Kuma-san team of Kogado.
Download Gadget Trial Demo (Japanese) and the English Translation Patch.
So, I wanted to stretch out an invitation to anyone who could think up of some interesting questions to add to my list and just spark some conversation =D. Feel free to ask questions from her other visual novel related works (Memories Off 5 and the anime voice of Elis from Canvas2). Help me brainstorm!"
I'd like to get some questions from this side of the community also for my interview =D. Now is your opportunity to ask a professional VA who works on non-ero visual novels anything you ever wanted, from production process, to what its like, to whatever! Let your imagination run wild (as I don't have too many good questions and need some helping making them >.>;; ). [PS: Theres a whole bunch of links (and a nifty little splash image) on the Gemot version of this thread if you want more information on Kogado, GT, or Sakura-con, I'm just to lazy to type in more BB Code ><].
Edit:
(Oh, random questions to Hirameki are also welcomed as they should also be around)

Hmmm...I'd rather interview a production manager / scenario writer / production artist. Since voice actresses are pretty much booked so they usually only come in for recordings and probably don't know much about all the products they worked on (For example, do you really believe Ayako Kawasumi has watched all the anime she voiced? Impossible.)
But anyways, I'll check out your thread on visualnews.

Yes, the production manager is the only relevant person, the whole world know others are just pawns. ^_^
Yes, but the chances of one of them coming over is slim to nothing as VNs manufactorers and staff have almost no showing power at cons T_T. I would love to do a interview with Maeda-san, but since that will probably never happen, I'll have to take what I get >.>;;....
Though, if I had known Circus was at AX last year (nearly the entire studio), I would have prepared some questions, but alas, they secretly slipped in with yozuca.

What? You mean Da Capo?!Misuzu wrote:Though, if I had known Circus was at AX last year (nearly the entire studio), I would have prepared some questions, but alas, they secretly slipped in with yozuca.
Whaaaaaaaat?!
In any case, how about what a visual novel VA does. Does she sing as well as voice act?
Hint hint... I want to eventually find a way to reverse engineer the business models for VAs. Hehehe...
