I've finally sorted my DBS check out (police check basically for those outside the UK), so I can go into placement for the first time tomorrow

I PASSED MY FIRST ESSAY FOR MY NURSING COURSE!
Sorry, I'm really happy, I failed my last set of exams and coursework at uni (different course) so 81% is a major thing for me :3 (pass rate is 40%)

I've literally only just got this I though everyone was talking about an anime called Love Wins that I just hadn't bothered looking up until like, 2 minutes ago

My cat somehow managed to fall out of a tiny window near the ceiling while I was asleep and my partner was at work. We found out because the coating on our outside door was completely scratched off. He was missing for 8 hours, and possibly chased by the neighbor's dog-- we were looking for him, but couldn't get any response.

But we just found him hiding under the house. Apparently, cats that get frightened outside will often hunker down and stay in one place, even if they are starving, and do not respond to you when you call them. (Even if they normally would.) I'm just happy he is home safe, I was so worried. T.T

That's great to hear! I remember when the cat we used to have ran away one time... we found it underneath the car. Luckily it was only missing for a couple of hours.

In other news, I have been playing the heck out of Splatoon - like, six hours a day. Just reached B rank as a sniper. I might be obsessed. Boy, is it fun though.

although cat's total expert in jumping and balancing, getting lost isn't a good experience to have.

Recently a cat that got into our house and climbed up the stairs is now making a base camp on top of our car. Every time I open the door, she's there snoozing and only awake when someone brought her food. (or she think will give her food)

My dad said when he try to drive the car, and started it up, the cat still sitting on top of it. The car move for a bit, and my dad waited for the cat to get off, but she still sitting up there like a boss
He finally need to brought her down by himself, and that night she got cheese spaghetti for dinner. So cute <3
I wish when my family move to a new home we'll take her to our neighborhood.

Thanks Kailoto and YuukiCrossPudding. I've lost pets in some pretty traumatic ways before, so I was originally freaking out hardcore, haha. We're keeping the windows closed for now, and we'll have to buy a new screen for the window. (It was cut out because we'd locked ourselves out once and had to break back in, lol. But the window was really high up, so we didn't imagine that our cat could reach it, much less fall out!)

I transcribe audio files. Like 60-120 minutes of audio a day. The pay is good, and in a sense, I get to improve my writing skills too.

I got a 68% on a exam Would have liked a 70%+ but 68% is good enough XD
