I got a bunch of Steam Gift Cards for Christmas. Now I can finally buy some of the VNs that I've been wanting. ^_^

(Got a bunch of MCU movies as well. Now I won't have to watch them on FX where commercials stretch them to 3 hours anymore.)

EDIT: I spent $70 on 11 VNs. <: No regrets whatsoever.

I decided to undertake the task of (badly) translating The Dark into Spanish, a language which I'm only at a high school level for. It took somewhere between 4 and 5 hours, but... IT'S DONE. ^_^ I'm going to have people check over it before posting it (namely, my Spanish teacher) but I think I did pretty okay for my limited knowledge of the language.

Also, A Foretold Affair released today. I've been waiting for this since last May, according to the thread.

Thank you Honestly my pain tolerance is terrible, I'm the sort of person that passes out from just scraping my kneecaps XD You can do it!!!

Now onto the reason I'm posting again:
I GOT A JOB!!!
Sorry it's just a really big deal to me, I've not been able to get any job offers yet in any of the nursing posts I've applied to, but I really want to work in this hospital, since it's considered one of the best in the UK for anything oncology related. Thing is, I'm still a student with 11 months to go until I actually qualify, and it's really hard to get a job there as a qualified, never-mind as a student, and it's just as hard to get into oncology full stop (aka, anywhere in the UK, not just this particular hospital) as a newly qualified, so this is a big accomplishment.

While this will sound a bit complainy at first, this is a shout for joy too... because...

I AM ALMOST DONE CUTTING AND LEVELING LINES FOR THE SHORT VERSION OF MY GAME! I just... I can't believe it... just 2 characters left... and I already got a good majority of one of them finished already. Scripting will be tedious, and the closer you get to finishing... it feels so close yet so far... like you're almost there but you know there's still a lot of work... but just taking a breath and not forcing myself to work too hard, I can finally start the damn beta. *sigh of relief*

SPRING BREAK Y'ALL.

This is going to sound ridiculous, but I'm happy about the weather today. It is just...beautiful. Finally.

Lately things have been on the terrible side when it comes to weather forecasts where I live: tornado warnings, snow like 3 days later, blistering heat, and then back to bitter cold that dips into freezing territory. All in the same week.

But today is not one of those days!

It feels nice, like a normal spring afternoon should. It's just barely windy enough to warrant a light jacket (I'm going to wear one regardless of the weather, to be honest) but otherwise, it's simply warm and cozy.
