Today I got a job offer as a software developer. Verra happy.

Today's my birthday, which is cool. But yesterday I got a job offer almost immediately after I had an interview. I am so happy!

Day 1: Finished the first draft. Eating Oreo Ice Cream Cake as a reward. *does a victory dance, ignoring the piles of other things I need to get done*

(Dear goodness been months since anyone's posted in this thread, I guess no happy things happened lately.)

Finally done unpacking about half of our stuff after moving again. For now. Until next year. "Hooray". Now to see what I've been missing here.

I asked someone out yesterday and she said yes? (miraculously) I'm now living the gay polyamorous dream out here with my two girlfriends <3

I've finished 3 of 5 part of my thesis, and even when there's difficulties while working on it, I'm hopeful it can be done before the deadline.

One of the lecturer at uni asked me to help mentoring my juniors. Some of them are really on the brink of failing those classes, so the university are coming up with an idea to make extra class for two weeks, where the students who have good academic scores will help teaching the class.

I'm actually nervous, because what if I can't help them out? Honestly I'm happy since I've always want to teach children, but now I'm taking law it'll be different teaching theories of law and all of that from teaching art. Also they will be in a similar age range, only younger 2-3 years from me or even can be older, it'll probably be awkward. The good thing is they picked 7 students to be mentors so I hope we can work well together to help other students to pass their exams.

I FINALLY got my old Vista OS HP slimline to turn on after.... 2 years? lol. I just decided "ya know, lemme try to boot it up" and I got it on (it has a problem starting up sometimes, it sucks, notice a lot of HP computers run into this issue as they age). Why was this such a triumph? Well, I needed to get some stuff out of there I didn't back up, or some scripts for some of my projects I forgot to backup (meaning, I had them backed up, but I did not have my latest writing). So I was able to recuse one of my experimental VNs out of there because I really, really want to complete it! I'll probably finish it up once NaNo ends, and then I also got to export what I had of an AMV I was working on so I can just cut the blank sections out and finish it up later xD

Finally finished nano.
Getting more days off.
Now...now.
I can play the vns I was watching, yaaay~

I could enjoy a normal sleeping night after several bad ones. ^^

I am nearly done with getting V2 of one of my games released. After a year and a half.... finally....

We've reached 500+ downloads as per today!

I'm so happy I found out about Ren'Py! It's so much fun and I feel like I found a reason to live with making visual novels! I know that sounds dramatic, but I was just feeling so bored with life. Suddenly I actually want to get up in the morning, and when I'm not working I want to work on my VN. I feel like I've gained so much more energy, and I'm happy everyday! It's only been 10 days, but being able to make visual novels has turned my life around in that short a time!

I don't really mind if I can never do it for money, I just want to be able to keep working on VNs!

I'm tentatively several hundred thousand dollars in debt, this is the greatest feeling ever.
I should get confirmation tomorrow.

Why does that make me happy? Because I'm buying my first home and everything is going perfectly

Finally got around to post this- from my last year's trip in Netherlands.
I don't take photos as much I used to, rather live the moment.

It was my first time outside of the country. Nephews' restaurant business is doing okay.
My distant relatives aren't from Netherlands however they agreed on a contract for work.

There was an unusual heat wave during the first few days over there at the time.
Overall it was great, neat to see how other side of the family operate business.

I bought myself a souvenir even though I couldn't find the time to play.

Near the end of Novemeber 2017,
I had a complication caused by an overactive thyroid. (non-graves)

I've been on antithyroid medication since then. I visited an endocrinologist early 2018.
For the past few years, I was running errands in the casinos. This helps with the bills.

I'm fine for now.
