This might be something too silly to rejoice about, but...I finally got my copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening! ;A;

I've been wanting to get this game for a while now, but the game is so highly sought after that every time I went to our nearest Gamestop, the people would always say they ran out of copy after JUST getting them shipped that morning. Seriously almost gave up on getting it. Good thing I tried one last time today and found out that there's one more left. FINALLY. So, so happy. OTL;;;

It's sort of funny because the Gamestop person must have remembered me after all those times that by the time I bought it, he was all, "You finally got the game! Make sure you don't forget to sleep!". I must have looked so desperate stupid lol.

I swear it's like Virtue's Last Reward all over again. Man, I'm jealous of everyone who can preorder their games easily. ;~;

Today, at 5:03pm, my son was born. Happy birthday, Sei!

My wife is still in the hospital, and will be there for maybe 5 more days. The labour was two and a half days long, no sleep in three days, and she lost twice as much blood as average during the delivery. Right now she's so weak that she can't even roll over unassisted.

But she's going to be okay, and our boy is very healthy. Phew, life is going to be completely different from now on.

I've had dysthymia and social anxiety for eight years. Today I am finally taking the right steps to cure it... naturally!
My therapist wanted to put me on anti-depressants. At first I was strongly considering it, but now I've decided to do it without medication.
So, I planned a healthy meal-plan for myself, joined a club at school, and I did a half hour of cardio workout for the first time in about... two years (yeah, I haven't exercised once in two years). I feel so good about myself now from just doing one workout. I almost can't wait until tomorrow just so I can exercise again. xD
I think I'm finally making the right steps to become a happier person. The club will help me make friends again and the workouts will give me more energy and make me feel better about myself. I actually feel optimistic about the future, and I never feel that way.

So, last night, I saw the night sky truly full of stars like I've never seen before--I never knew what I was missing--I saw nebulas, the milky way, the stars actually twinkled.... And I saw not one, but THREE shooting stars--as good as a genie, boo yah! It may very well have been the most beautiful I've seen the sky ever.... So the middle of nowhere can actually be good for something! =w= (Not that small towns are bad, that's been most of my life, but I always want to be doing something usually, and my small towns can be really boring....)

Also, congrats Trick and great start teacup!
And DeeKay....I hope you understand you probably make a ton of people smile with that sweetness of yours, just sayin'. ^_^

Congrats to TrickWithAKnife and mrs.TrickWithAKnife ^^
Reading that, I'm now getting all these motherly feelings haha. I guess it's my age.

Teacup congrats!
Making the decission to take care of yourself is definitely going to help you.
Focus on the positive! If you start feeling down, remind yourself of all the amazing steps you've already taken to move forward:)

I was invited to my classmate's birthday party.
We're friends, but actually we never hang out... and yet, I feel we have this weird bond.

I know she has a hard time relaxing and is always worried or frustrated about this or that...

So..because she wants to learn to make cupcakes, I gave her a voucher she can use on me anytime she wants to make cupcakes, and I gave her a recipe notebook that I decorated for her to write the recipes in.

And for another present (my favourite part) I folded a whole lot of origami fish and in each of them I put a little strip of paper with a fortune on it.
So the fish are dubbed "Fortune Fishies" :D I filled up a whole jar of them!!

And then in one huge fish I left a note:

Dear L,
As you can see, these fishies have a piece of paper stuck up their butts.
That can't be comfortable.
There is a saying that goes "If you feel down, helping others will make you feel better."
So, whenever you're feeling down, help a fishie feel better and in return the fishie will share some words of wisdom with you.

So whenever she feels down, she can take a fishie out the jar and read it's fortune (mostly positive, encouraging stuff)

She really liked it :D So I'm really stoked right now that I managed to make someone smile today ^_^
Since I have our site RSI, I used speech recognition by, sometimes this means I'll make some mistakes. :D

I think that's something I love about living in Western Australia. Wherever you are you are only, at most, an hour away form the middle of nowhere. When there's no lights and no pollution around for miles and miles it's amazing what you see.
