Lemmasoft Forum merchandise?

#1 Post by ririruetoo »

I was just thinking it would be really neat if people could buy items related to Lemmasoft forums, like sweatshirts or mugs or hats or t-shirts, or socks, or something neat like that. I would buy them.

I'd like a plushy of the General Discussion forum.

Perhaps the artist should be involved in the merchandising discussions if it goes further...

The #renpy IRC channel is a great place to chat with other devs. Due to the nature of IRC and timezone differences, people probably won't reply right away.

If you'd like to view or use any code from my VN PM me. All code is freely available without restriction, but also without warranty or (much) support.

That is... if we can get a hold of this one's artist! Dx (Shippok claims s/he is not the one who made this).

I couldn't find anything that conflicts with this being the artist: http://spottedfire-cat.deviantart.com/

I'm not sure we'd want to make forum merchandise that has little to do with the forum itself.

Merchandising

Getting people to know about RenPy WOULD do well for the project as a whole as well as draw in more people. Think of it as "Viral marketing."

You could also use outsourcing sites like http://www.customink.com/ (just googled it never used it) and have THEM sell it for you.

I know. It's just a little joke born in a certain hot thread(now completely hijacked). I would want an Eileen t-shirt anytime with your signature's catch phrase, "When was the last time you backed up your game?"

I really like Eileen holding the octopus cat on the Ren'Py homepage. The two of them look impossibly cute there.

And I also think it would be cool if we had a shirt where it's a large panel of as many Ren'Py novel characters squeezed in, either onto the front or back. With their creator's consent, of course!
