Addictive TV Series?
Game of Thrones, man. The Walking Dead. House too, before it ended. Just to name a few...

Re: Addictive TV Series?
They are all pretty great! I find If i start watching a series I get hooked pretty quick, which kills all productivity for me so I try not to start watching anything unless I've a lot of time on my hands. I'm a pretty big fan of all the HBO programs.

I was addicted to Young Justice and GL:TAS until they were screwed over.
The best reason to get up in the morning is to outdo yourself: to do it better than you've ever done it before. But if you haven't done it better by nightfall... look at your globe and pick a spot: it's always morning somewhere.

Re: Addictive TV Series?
Back in the day, Heroes was the weekly show that I couldn't get enough of. I had a big white board in my room with a graph of all the characters as nodes, and I'd draw vertices between them once they met in the show. These days I'm a fan of the usual crop: Doctor Who, Walking Dead, Young Justice, but Burn Notice holds my number one slot at the moment.

Re: Addictive TV Series?
Right now, it's Criminal Minds, but it used to be Teen Titans. I loved that show.
My first completed visual novel, which is at 1.3, it's final version(woo hoo!): Monster Uses CPU 2
Finally at version 1.0: White Fog
I make one song every week, all for free download! This weeks song: Synthis- The Mirror(Eliana Remix)[Preview]
You might ask yourself: If I could only save one paragraph of the work I'm writing, which one would I save?
Which one would I let go first?

Re: Addictive TV Series?
I used to watch Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes whenever it was on... until Disney XD decided to cancel it and replace it with a show that would fit the continuity and humor of Ultimate Spiderman... was not happy.
On the other side of the spectrum, while I don't like most "reality TV" outside of Mythbusters (because it's just awesome like that) I do tend to marathon and rewatch what I call "creation competition shows". Face Off, Best Ink, Fashion Star, if they are creating something and we watch them and we get to see the final product? I am hooked. Some of the people on these shows are unbelievably talented and it sucks that only one person can win. (In the same vein, I love cooking competitions. I am a Chopped fangirl.) I think I got into these shows because it is much easier to find these on rerun and pick up at a random spot while at work than trying shows with storylines and with my job it can be hard to watch the later sometimes (unless I work night shift).
I am also a fan of Doctor Who and Sherlock and hope that when I start The Walking Dead it won't take over my life. Buffy and Angel with big shows for me as a teenager that I enjoy a rewatch through. I am not watching Game of Thrones right now because I am trying to read the novels... key word: TRYING. Oh man are they looooooong.

I'm a huge fan of both of those!roundmetal wrote:I loved Malcolm in the Middle

I'm enjoying GoT... also really enjoyed Sopranos, Weeds (but lost interest around the 4th season), Buffy, Angel, Merlin, House, Futurama (*sniff* the dog episode *sniffle*), Firefly, Babylon 5... well, and a lot of other stuff, really. I tend to prefer TV series over movies.
I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender because it has so many TV Tropes... that one was pretty addictive, too.

Depending on ones taste...Lucky Star
I mean it's only one season, but I've rewatched it more times than I can count. Just, its just relaxing and fun to watch.

Re: Addictive TV Series?
I have a major problem with getting unhooked as fast as getting hooked. So, while I have only gotten half way through season two on Dexter, The Walking dead, Burn Notice, Merlin, Heroes, LOST, House, the list go's on. Lucky for me, I have a knack for not spoiling myself on what happens in said shows and I can start again when the mood it there. Comedy's are my achilles heel. With show's like: Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Malcolm in the Middle, I would always have them on in the background. There is one thing that has me more hooked then anything. I listen to it every night before I sleep and have been doing so for the last 4 years, but, it is a radio play, so It shall have no mention here .
