How do you make your games? I see. Thank you for the prompt replies, but it is my considered opinion that you're doing it wrong inefficiently because I am a perfushenal professional. Do it my way this way and we can all ascend VN Nirvana together while allowing me to stroke my ego you will improve much faster. Also, please don't forget to thank me for this constructive critique or I will cry and bore you to death respond appropriately with a tl;dr rant discourse of epic adequately lengthy proportions. - Sarcasm Veiled in Euphemism: Secrets of Forum Civility by lordcloudx (Coming soon to an online ebook near you.)

I think I know how the lines were done, but the cg colors... wow! Got a step-by-step on how to do that?

Hime: yup what Misu said. That's ilya all right. lolified to the max hehe.
As for lineart, I don't have a tablet, so I use teh pen tool in photoshop to trace rough pencils into clean lineart on a new layer. The less points you use between lines, the better. Doesn't work so well in photoshop 6.5 coz the lines look too stiff (which is what i used for ilya since my higher version of photoshop is on my dual boot to winxp and I'm too lazy to reboot from win98.) Takes some degree of patience and it still won't look as good as lines done with a tablet... maybe.
but on photoshop 7+, the lines from the pen tool look a little bit smoother than lower versions.

Hello Hime, Sorry for the late reply, I was kinda busy because of work.Hime wrote: Uwah, that's amazing! My lines in Photoshop are never that clean... I wish I'd know how to make it like that... (Lineart is kind of my weak point, duh D: ) Do you have a trick for it? Or is it a secret?
Anyways, as for lineart you could try this link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r25lKVMnVnU
The process used in the link above is the same process I used.
The process is kinda time consuming so if you're after a deadline, I suggest inking your work using a wacom tablet or ink them using pigma micron pens before scanning your work. I hope that helps ^_^
