Plus, bringing women on ships is unlucky.
Ar, we are men of seas! No ladies on da board!
If anything, I will say that I tend to like dress than jeans, which is pretty much the majority in my country nowadays.

Therefore that may need to be presented as a qualifier to discussions about promiscuity.)
So you mean being faithful in a polygamic relationship? I can't see how else that would work out - it's even mathematically impossible to be "faithful" to two people at the same time, when you're thinking in terms of "one love". I can see being in love with two people at once, or being faithful to two people at different times - but not really faithful to two people while actually loving them - since that would not be monogamy anymore.

Well, it depends on what you mean by faithful.
There are many kinds of non-monogamy. There's the harem thing of one man and many women who all belong to him/are married to him. There's some group marriage commune things where EVERYONE in them is supposed to be considered married to EVERYONE else (which to me sounds crazy, I can't imagine how they expect everyone to get along). There's people who just like casual sex and don't feel the need to make a relationship out of each of them, although they might be friends with some of those partners and see them more than once. Some people like to fool around with all of their friends to varying degrees of seriousness. And some people have relationships that are similar to monogamous relationships except slightly bigger.
Say that you fall in love with a pair of identical twins. You love them both, you can't figure out how to choose between them, and they both love you and are willing to share you. (Probably only happens in hentai games, but hey! Just for the sake of discussion.) So you decide that they are BOTH your girlfriends. Fooling around with some other girl would then be cheating. Staying true to your twin loves would be being faithful, just faithful to more than one. As long as they both know you love them both. Lying is not faithful!
It's not monogamy, obviously. But there are options between 'monogamy' and 'total slut'. Really.

Yes, that's logical and acceptable, even those various forms of open relationships or how they are all called. Adhering to the various principles of these is what constitutes faith. If you break the rules, you're unfaithful.
On a personal level I only differentiate between total monogamy and "everything else", that's why it's impossible for me to see being faithful as anything else than being intimate exclusively with your one partner.
