You need four (or was it five?) messages on the forum before being able to add your signature. After that you can add it in user CP -> Profile -> Edit signature.

It's important to add that the signature feature only "unlocks" after the user has a certain number of posts. Before that the link to edit signature simply isn't there (my current situation).

Thank you so much for that I was driving my self crazy looking for that!

I also struggled whole day with this problem, until I clicked BBcode and read:
"Showing images in posts"

after that I felt so damn stupid and wanted to hit myself for not clicking it earlier...so yeah, if somebody's still little confused just go
»User Control Panel
» Edit signature
»Click BBcode (is ON) under "Options"
»Scroll until "Showing images in posts" and tadaah

You don't have enough posts yet to add a signature. c: The option will appear once you have made 5 or so posts.

What dimensions would you suggest for an image signature?

Hi. You will find this information in the Forum rules: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=14588
Here it is:
10.) Signature Length
Signatures should be at most 5 lines high. Signatures with pictures should be at most 90 pixels high.

A good suggestion I could make, would be to use the same size pretty much everyone else has. I cannot recall the exact size, but just save any signature and view its properties.
