God, I was freaking out when this came up on my playthrough. I ended up waiting out the 5 mins for the cheap otaku mug cake... I suck

This is without a doubt one of the most innovative things I've ever seen in a visual novel. Practical from a gameplay standard, perhaps not. I don't know how long the game calculates it would take, but having to wait thirty minutes or so to progress seems kind of extreme. Then again, where's the fun in having a virtual girlfriend if it's not realistic? Can't get anymore realistic than that. xDD

Christine Love's VN's have always been a little different. Thinking back to Digital a Love Story, Don't Take This Personal Babe... and now this. I'm sure she has as many fans as she does haters but I also admit that this was something fresh.
Still though its not really "practical" but sometimes you need to bend, even break the rules.
Just a thought, she still made this in Ren'Py right? it would be interesting to see the source code at how she managed to program the AI. I think just simple timers used very effectively.
