Nope, the thread numbers and URLs should stay the same.

This move should be good. From what I've seen, PHPBB3 definitely is better than 2. Although, I'd say something about getting a skin for the forum, perhaps something like a RenPy interface?

I'd pass on getting a new skin. The current one looks fine, and I don't want to be stuck maintaining a new skin.

Oh, I've cleared the last obstacle before I can do the migration (which had to deal with the guy I share the server with), so we're all set for the migration. I'll probably do it tomorrow sometime.

Looking good currently. Though, I am wondering who will report a post in this forum.

I don't expect anyone to... it's just that the feature is in the software, and it may be too much of a pain to try to get rid of it.

The migration is complete. The lemmasoft forums are dead. Long live the forums!

Ah, fresh new look for the next half of the year. Still, I might miss Lemma's picture on the upper left corner.

I suspect Lemma will be returning, in the fullness of time.

Although... with all the love for the logo, I found it a bit easier to browse at work, when there was no cartoon girl sitting around. But you shouldn't browse forums at work anyway, so... :P

EDIT: Maybe this could be a good time to think about a different header for the forum - like Lemmasoft Forums - English visual novel creation community. Or something similar. :?

Touché! Altough me thinks there's nothing wrong with browsing during the coffee break. But the logo does kind of undermine one's credibility at the workplace.

Like when I bought the Sailor Moon mangas when wearing a suit, and the kiosk owner couldn't get over it that I'm buying the same stuff schoolgirls buy.

You mean you're not a schoolgirl?

I'm so disillusioned....

On the old board, there was a "worksilver" theme I made, which eliminated the top logo and the avatar pictures.

Mmm, got an error page at some point but have no idea how I got there (lots of opened tabs...). I'll post details if I can reproduce it.

And, the last technical migration task (rebuilding the search index) is now finally complete.

Fun fact: The board has 48,236 unique words, for some value of "word" that doesn't count 1, 2, or 3 letter words, but counts random word-like things. Some examples:

permanently sped wired crono exactamente sheild orophus pregnant rephrases workout cardinals conclave vein hippos spammers zetakun hetrosexual agake bokura celestian chiral cues particualry planted settign
