funny and bizarre anecdotes

#1 Post by Sailor Kitty » Mon Jul 30, 2007 9:05 am

We were up in gothenborrow for a few days, mostly to satisfy my needs of english cheap manga. We lived at a freind of my dads, and well, he told us about some stuff that had happened. His name is Kaj.

. Kaj had just moved to urasa, the village where I live. (He moved eventually) with his girlfreind. And whilst unpacking, he find a pair of baby-blue long johns and a matching sweater. The sweater was as tight as the long-jhons. So he puts them on and ties a red towel around his neck as a cape. He then makes a superman pose while his girlfrind takes a picture.

several years later, his girlfreinds sister pays a visit. She finds the photos and Kaj tells her "Oh, those. They are from a period in my life when I thouht I was superman."
And she does not seem to get the fact that it is a joke.

Does anybody else have a funny or bizarre story?
script is 85% done.
Title is now "Running through water"
and will hopefully stay that way.
Need a poem/lyric?
I'll write one for ya!

I still remember, when i was 3 years old i used to dress up as Supeman (-: I would take any long pieces of clothin from my mothers wardrobe and use them as a cape, than i would take my mothers sunglases (It was the 80s so those sunglases looked pretty much 70's :-)
and than i would run around the house screaming and jump off of every chair, table, or any other furnature i found. I also collected all couchins and pillows from the sofas and beds and put them on top of each other and climb up on them all the way to the ceiling. Than i would throw one pillow on the ground and jumb down while pretending i could fly (-:

Several deja-vu like coincedence or misreading stories from the past week.

I was walking down the street listening to a song that inspired my novel thinking about the perception of my character "Rex" in the novel when a van pulls up in front of me and it says "REX locksmiths" on it. WHOA.

I left the building earlier than my teacher one day and as I am walking away from campus I see him walking towards campus from down the street. How did he get there?

At the same point on the street at the same time of day, my ipod played the same song it had played the other day there.

I saw a sign in the bookstore that is supposed to prevent stealing that says "if you think you can get away with it..." in small letters and "THINK AGAIN" in huge letters. Well, I thought it said "THINK ASIAN" because I only saw the big part. Then I realized that could potentially mean the same thing >_> <_< No, I didn't say that.......

I think we notice deja-vu-ness more than non-deja-vu-ness but sometimes it seems so strangely relevant. But you can't go noticing that stuff too much or you end up like poor Ryunosuke Akutagawa....
