NaNoRenO is coming again! Who's excited?

Is it really time for NaNoRenO? Wow! I'm really torn on this, I want to join but I should focus on work. I'm going to have to think hard about this one. If I could get a good writer to join me it could be worth it, writing was the only thing that I couldn't finish in time last year.

I'll be using NaNoRenO as an impetus to make my first Ren'Py game. Although I'll be doing it at the same time as I'm finishing up my thesis so it will be a busy month.

Will be composing the music for this.

Yeah, I plan to do it again, even though I'm still working on last year's. But I learned from last time... lots of choices = lots of writing (more than I've been motivated to complete so far), and two characters would have been more appropriate than six for my first time making sprites.

This year, I want to make sprites with photography. As far as story I might just make it a KN. We'll see how it goes.

I'll be taking part again ^_^ It will be my forth year, and I can honestly say it's some of the most fun I've ever had with visual novels. I guess I really enjoy the fast paced development. In previous years I worked on Don't take it personally babe, Ristorante Amore and Witch/Knight and I'm working on the planning for this years.

I'm not sure how I will go this year because not only will I have normal work hours to do, I'll also be newly moved into an apartment, like literally the weekend it starts. So my time is probably going to be all over the place. I'm also going to attempt something a bit different for me stylistically as well. Nanoreno is the time to experiment and push yourself after all

I think after years of delaying, this year I probably will join with a small project aside from my main one too. I've been wanting to make this short story into a VN (Or KN) ever since I discovered Ren'py |D

NaNoWriMo means National Novel Writing Month.

So NaNoRenO probably means National Novel Ren'Py/Ren'ai Month. Seems more international, than national, but eh, semantics.

Ah man. Last year, it was suppose to be a simple game, but eventually it ended up being too complex for me to handle. This time I have a partner to help me out with the script/writing/searching for audio & BGs. I believe it's a straightforward game (where the goal is to simply prevent the death of the persuable). I'm trying to keep just two persuables for now. If ever have the chance to redevelop the game, it's possible to have four then.

Me, although I won't be participating this year since I'll be busy on other projects ^^ (Plus the Nano I worked on last year isn't even out yet OTZ so I'd feel really bad joining again... haha. The game's been 99% done since the end of last March, but we're just waiting for the animated opening to be done.)

Ohh, I really want to participate but I should focus on Emma. Unless I could do like a really quick one... But then I always fall into the "start something new" trap. But then I really want to participate... But then I should finish something first. Argh!

Regardless I'm excited by the idea of seeing other people's creations come to life!
