Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
I'm currently reading:
-Dune (this Spanish translation has... weird things. I still laugh at the embarassed silences translated as "pregnant silences" [silencio embarazado]). It's amazing, but I'm getting to a point where, without explaining too much, the mesianic side of the story is going too far too quicky.
-Thus spoke Zarathustra. At the beginning I couldn't understand it at all, now things are getting better, and the way it's related is pretty powerful.

I'm currently reading "Grendel" by John Gardner. Its a novel based on Beowulf from the perspective of the monster Grendel and I'm loving it so far. Its rich and dark and brooding and angry and right up my alley

Still trying to get through the Night Angel series by Brent Weeks, it's a good series, but the books are fairly thick and takes a lot of time to read, time that I haven't had lately. -sigh- the sacrifices that must be made.
First Finished game! Deep Freeze Cafe.

I'm currently reading the second part of Miss Peregrine's peculiar children. I read the first book some time ago and liked it a lot, but the new one makes me really disappointed...

Re: The last book you read or what are you reading right now
I'm rereading A Study In Scarlet and about to devour the rest of the Sherlock Holmes stories that I haven't read yet. I'm sort of getting tired of what I have in my bookshelf so maybe you guys can recommend something for me? I'm specifically looking for good LGBT books (that's hopefully available in my country because bleh censorship) since, despite being LGBT myself, I want to read more about LGBT culture and get familiar with it, and oh maybe a contemporary classic you guys like. But other than that, I'm open to any book.

@SimonLayton my favourite LGBT book is "Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe". The language is beautiful and the story is very heartwarming without any cheesy moments like in some other LGBT literature.
I also recomend Golden Boy by Abigail Tarttelin, "Tell the Wolves I'm Home" by Carol Rifka Brunt, "Fingersmith" by Sarah Waters and "Let the right one in" by John Ajvide Lindkvist (although this one is horror).

Just finished reading the Mirror Empire by Kameron Hurley. It was great! I nearly jumped for joy when one of the cultures addressed the respect of using preferred pronouns, as well as how important consent is in their culture.

I'm old school; I'm reading Wüthering Heights by Emily Brönte. I just love that book, and any gothic literature at all, actually. I love the whole time period.

I am currently digging into House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. I've not even reached the halfway point and I already find myself wanting to recommend this book. The presentation is so unique and engaging!
