I've REALLY been wanting to play a Romance/Slice of Life VN that wasn't short, something I could stick with for a while. Does anyone have any suggestions? I havent been able to really find any other than Katawa Shoujo, of course
Also BxG would be preferred, as I've played a few otomes recently, and am wanting to mix it up
Aaaaaand I'd really prefer to stick with ones that are free haha

Sure we can suggest something :]. But first do the games need to be BxG like Katawa Shoujo or are other types of relationships okay? And are you willing to buy a game or does it have to be free?

A lot of people trying to write english BxG have the idea of making something really huge and really pretty with no money, and then discover that this generally doesn't work out. It's a bit difficult to manage and motivate the large number of people necessary to make a big-scale game to all work together for multiple years for free. Even if they started out as students with free time, they eventually need to get jobs.
So there have been many large-scale projects announced and most of them slowly fall apart. Some may eventually come through! With /evn/ dead I don't see the status reports anymore.
But generally, if you want a long and pretty BxG game, you will be much happier just buying one. If you're more specific with what you like in a game, better recommendations can be given so you don't waste your money.
I rarely play BxG VN, so I can't really give you recommendations but I agree with what papillon said. I believe there are more BxG VNs out there than the GxB ones, so there'll be wide range of price for the VNs. If you're good and lucky enough, you can always find a rather cheap yet good quality one.
