*faints*

You're very skilled Deji ^^ Incredible artwork.
I wish I could have the same spirit when I spend time drawing (after 3 hours my energy level goes poof).

Well Deji, I'm proud of you!*gives you a tight hug and pinches your cheek*
That's like a pro bg from an anime if not better!The trees expecially are awesome, they look a bit impressionistic too, even though the shadow should have probably been more oblique considering its placement(it's not in front of the tree unlike the gate's shadow, that's right next to it)
Anyway, you placed every other shadow really well and you didn't go overboard with the light effect which is commendable.
Great great great.If you manage to keep this quality for the whole project you'll achieve a full professional look, and a Puchu medal from me ;3

*studies you and tries to get better*

Extreme beautiful background art, literally stunned when I saw it.

I agree with Ren - just like a pro! You even made mugen drool instead of POOF :shock:

When I was doing art, I remember not keeping a palette and then losing the colors >_> After everything was all shaded, it was impossible to get the original base color back with the color-picker tool. If only I knew ;_;

Sorry for leaving the thread unattended for so long >_< I was busy =x
And thanks everybody for the kind comments ^^
I posted a couple of tutorials in my deviantART gallery that might be useful:

Palette making
Few layers count coloring <--- you need a tablet for that.

I also had an old tutorial for this pic on a forum, but the forum is down atm ^^;

I have the folder with all the images in there, thou. If you're a Photoshop user, you might be able to understand what's going on =3

Tutorial folder

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you want to request a tutorial on something else I might know ^^ Please feel free to post your own resources as well!

Kawaiiii!!! =3 *jumps around like the kid he is xD and enters fanboy mode*

I second monele.. I would love to play a game with them... I'm a 200% Rpg/Super Rpg nerd.. so yeah ^^; (there are exceptions of course.. I prefer anime-FF styled Rpg's).

Still these tutorials are really helpfull... I don't know anything about photoshop but I really need to get my hand on gear and try these out ^^

Glad you like them, Moni and Dash ^___^
Those were characters from a fantasy RPG that I had on my old forum, based on a fantasy world me and my boyfriend have been creating since 2004. I hope we manage to do something with it soon ^^

I'll try to make another tutorial when I find something nice to share with you all =3
For now, back to commissions and sprites~
